Fearless Friday, A Gnome for the Holidays
A “gnome” for the Holidays!
Today we’re going to have a little fun with gnomes
This little gnome is super easy to create
Start with his nose

Add his beard
Sometimes it helps to turn your paper when drawing the opposite side
the body
the feet
hat and hands
a little pumpkin
At this point I went over the pencil sketch with ink and erased the pencil
stripes and pumpkin details
Color the pumpkin orange with yellow highlights
I colored the body brown, the shoes and pom pom black,
and the nose and hands tan
Green stripes on the hat
Yellow stripes and he’s done!
And a dotted background just for fun!
You can easily change him from Fall or Thanksgiving
to Christmas and the Holidays ~
Swap the pumpkin out for a Christmas tree,
change the colors to red and green,
and give him a star pom pom on his hat
Holiday Gnome!
I hope you’ll have some fun with gnomes
Be Fearless!

He’s so cute!
Thank you 🙂
I love his hat. It could hold many secrets under there – like a cupcake!
Ha, ha, you never know!
This is so darn cute, and I’m a collector, no an obssesser of GNOMES…I know that isn’t a word, but it should be. Very cute, going to send the post to my Grandgirl…Thanks, Sandi
Thank you Sandi, gnomes are hard to resist!
Jenna, your autumn gnome with the pumpkin is darling. Like Leslie Anne said, I love his hat, however I hadn’t thought of him hiding a cupcake under it 😂 Happy November!
Thanks Pam 🙂
So cute and I think it is something I can do. I’m going to give it a try on Sunday when I try to do things that are not “work.” Thanks for another good tutorial.
Oh good, thanks Linda, Happy Drawing!
So cute, Jenna!
Thanks Rita 🙂
I have no drawing talent, but I always want to give it a try when you post these step by step drawings. You make it looks so easy and fun !1. BTW- I received the book and am enjoying reading it… Thanks again !
Thanks Judee, have fun drawing, I promise this is easy! So glad you received the book!
I’ve been doing lots of gnomes lately and I love how easily you broke this down. I might have to try your version with the grands. The instructions are wonderful. Thanks!
Thanks Jeanie, gnomes are fun aren’t they 🙂
This is adorable! I may make this on a wine glass and give it to my friend who loves gnomes!
Thanks for the inspiration!
That’s a great idea!
Adorable Jenna! I love the version holding a pumpkin!
Thank you Mary, he’s fun to play with 🙂
Each one has a different personality depending on the season. He is adorable. I am picking this post as a feature this week. #HomeMattersParty
