Creative Energy
Hello!
It’s been a minute since I’ve posted…
I’ve been in the hospital for the last 3 months
I so appreciate the sweet comments,
prayers, and beautiful cards you have sent me…
You all have been a big part of my recovery!
{you can read more on these links~

I am still in a private rehab hospital doing physical therapy
to regain my ability to walk
Friends and family have been keeping my room well deorated!
They bring me all kinds of goodies, beautiful flowers,
snacks, even a sweet cuddly teddy bear
🧸
CC brings me colorful artwork
and gives me a manicure every few weeks
💅
I have gotten my creative energy back
so I ordered sketch books, markers, and colored pencils

This Mixed Media sketch book is my go to favorite, it works well with, colored pencils, markers, pen and ink, and watercolor

I got this 80 Color Dual Tip Alcohol Marker set for a super reasonable price. It obviously has a wide selection of colors, and it comes in a handy carrying {and storage} case that I turn on it’s side when I’m working so I can easily grab the marker* I want

I also got this 72 Colored Pencil set* for only $10!
*I will show you how to make color charts with your supplies
in an upcoming Fearless Friday post
I also decided to start a crochet project,
I find crochet very relaxing
and it’s nice to do it while watching TV~
The Hallmark Channel,
and the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel,
are keeping me well entertained!
I have lots of ideas to share with you in upcoming posts~
In my next post I will share Father’s Day gift ideas

I will also continue to share recipes, meal and menu ideas,
parties, table setting, art and crafts…
I am so excited to get back to doing what I love,
and sharing ideas for your inspiration
AND most importantly, catching up with all of you!
❤️Jenna

Jenna, I am so happy you are recovering and getting your energy and creativity back. It makes my heart happy to see a post from you. I was thinking of you when I got up this morning. You remain in my prayers! Sending you love and hugs ❤️🙏🏻
Wishing you a speedy recovery. I always have enjoyed your blog. May God bless you.
Jenna, not only am I happy to see a post from you, but also to know that your creative energy is returning! It’s both mentally and physically engaging. Now, to just get that energy down to the legs and feet! Work hard, love that you want to return to your blog. I love your crochet work you’re doing. It reminds me of the trims we often find on the vintage pillowcases. It’s a lost art, and it’s getting harder and harder to find these beauties in the wild. Happy June, my friend. Big hugs.
So very glad you are doing better. I truly enjoy your site more than any other
Oh my goodness Jenna, somehow I missed those posts. I am glad you are home and doing better. Keep up the good progress!

I was thinking of you and actually want to explore your blog for a tutorial on painting a strawberry.
Thank the good Lord all is going well for you! Keep up the hard work, dear friend!
I am praying hard for you!🙏🙏
I’m so happy to see this post! I love seeing your creative projects, and I had no idea that you crochet! I tried when I was a preteen, but I’d love to learn again.
Take care, and I hope to see you soon!
How wonderful that you’re feeling better and wanting to be creative again! Looking forward to all the posts to come! Hoping for a speedy recovery !
Oh Jenna, my heart did a leap for joy seeing your post this morning. It makes my day seeing you are progressing in your recovery. I knew your creative gene would have to eventually rally and this is such great therapy! Your crochet project will be something you will look back on as your first step back into creative talent after your illness. Congrats my dear sweet friend, continue in your recovery and take care. Hope you talk to you soon. Lots and lots of hugs……….
Now you’re cooking, Bama!! So super GREAT to hear from you and see that you are still one “crafty” lady. When I recuperated from Polio at age 7 I had books galore, and well wishes as you have experienced, and friends dropping by the hospital– and one wonderful RED CROSS volunteer who became an adopted member of my family. She was dubbed “Aunt Laura” and our family did nothing without her for the rest of our lives. She was there for every important step of my life. These are the things that can get you through, along with that Southern Spunk you have! The art supplies you have are encouraging me to try to emulate your greatness, but that will have to wait a bit–having my front yard worked on tomorrow so that will be a busy day. But I can order now and TRY to replicate your work when I get a break.
We all LOVE you so, and I have been praying for you. Hope all continues to go great for you. With your medical team and that fine family you have for support our money is on you. Love you so, Jenna! Shelia (Georgia Gal)
Oh Jenna. My heart did a little skip this morning when I opened my email and saw your post. I’ve been wondering how you are doing and I’m so glad to hear that you are okay!! I’m even happier to hear that your creative energy has returned – that can be healing in and of itself. Love the painting and the crochet is so pretty. Welcome back my friend – you have been missed! Take care down there and happy June to you!
Great to hear you doing better. This had been a long journey for you. It is so nice to hear you are feeling like doing all your creative work. I love the things you do. I have ordered several of your art work, pillows especially. Sorry this has happened to you. But good to know you are on the mend. Looking forward to getting your great emails again.

All the very, very best for continuing improvement. You are doing more for yourself than all the pills and potions can do . . . mind over matter can help more than one realizes . . .
Take care🙏🏻☺️
Good Gravy, Woman! You’ve been through it all, haven’t you? And still creating! I’m so proud of you for not losing your spirit and knowing what you love. I’m happy you have family and others nearby to keep you company. Hang in there and I’m going to paint something else to show you, after the delicious BLT painting! You are an inspiration.

Jenna, I have missed you and your inspiring posts so much. I am very pleased to see you back on your blog again and to hear that your “vacation” 😉 is going well. You are obviously a very determined woman and your positive attitude shows through in the good times and the hard times. I hope you enjoy your new art tools, and I look forward to seeing what your create.
Every couple of days I check your blog to see if there is any update. And today, pay dirt! I’m so happy to hear things have been going well, you are improving and that your energy and creative mojo have returned too. You have been so missed. Sitting on my very desk is a card I’ve had ready with all but the address! I WILL find it and add to your “collection!” Seeing your art supplies makes me so happy. One of my inspiration sources for all things lovely is “back!” I’m absolutely elated!
Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
So happy to find your blog this morning – I’ve been missing you so much.

Hello Jenna,
So good to hear you are doing better and are on the road to recovery. It’s been a while since I have read my usual blogs, ( and have missed them) so I did not know of your illness until I read this morning’s post. My life has changed since my husband’s passing, and I have little time to just kick back and read like I used to, but I hope to incorporate more reading time in my schedule. You are such a talented lady and I will pray for your continued recovery. God bless you!
P.S. I still enjoy the coasters you sent me. 🙂
I am so thrilled to see you posting once again, Jenna! You have been missed! I’m also happy to know that you’ve rediscovered energy to pursue things you love! You will continue to be in my prayers as you recover and grow stronger!
