Snapper Season!
One of the highlights of the summer
for the fishermen in my family
is Snapper Season

The season is short-lived in the Gulf waters near our beach house,
it’s usually from Memorial Day to the end of July
There are strict rules about the size you can keep
and limited to 2 fish per person

HHjr & Big E [13] invited friends and had much fun
They were very happy with their catch!
Big E is pretty proud of his…
Super Boy, now Super Teen [17] didn’t go,
he was playing golf at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Fl
There was plenty of fish for dinner!

HHjr grills the snapper filets until done*
and finishes them with lemon, salt and pepper to taste
and a brown sugar mustard glaze
*done: Grilling time depends on your grill and temperature

Or a vegetable salsa
💃

Both are equally delicious!

Good morning, Jenna! Big E and Super Boy have grown up before my eyes!
I love red snapper and the way HHjr prepares it sounds delicious. Is there anything better than fresh fish caught from the Gulf and eating it the same day?!
Wishing you a lovely Tuesday!

Ah, one of my favorite fish!

Oh Wow Jenna, what a catch the guys had! I know they all enjoyed their fishing adventure. Super teen is all grown up like one I know near and dear, Seventeen next week! The grilled fish looks delish, I’m sure HHjr gets it perfect. Great post! Hugs dear friend……….
Jenna, I love living on the Gulf as the fresh fish or shellfish are so much better. The first thing the Captain and I did when returning from our motorhome tour of 20 states was go to our favorite restaurant on the water and order and eat fresh seafood. The boys are growing so fast, I know you are so proud of them. Have a great and wonderful week. Hugs and Blessings
Look at those boys!! How fun for them to catch all that snapper. I remember going to Destin one Spring break and Rich and our boys went snapper fishing. The recipe sounds sound good. I hope you are doing well, Jenna. 😘
Jenna, there is nothing better than fresh fish. The recipes you shared sound wonderful. Thanks for sharing! Happy Sunday!
Wow, how time flies. You’ve got a good-looking and accomplished group of men and young men, Jenna! The snapper recipes look fabulous. How wonderful to have HHJr’s skills at home! Can the young men grill like their Dad too?
Thanks Rita, Big E [13] loves to grill, he cooks the best burgers!
