Do you cook more or less in December than any other month? I want to really make an effort not to make things too complicated this month but still have plenty of exciting dishes coming from my kitchen~Here are the recipes I am going to use for inspiration on the busy December days ahead. If you take a few minutes to organize your cooking thoughts you will save lots of time and effort later~
Appetizers
Bacon Bourbon and Brussels Sprout Skewers from Giada de Laurentis
Hot Cheesy Mushroom Dip
Beef Enchilada Dip
Rosemary Cashews
Cranberry, Butternut & Brussels Sprouts Nachos from Half Baked Harvest
Sides
Spinach Puffs
Bacon and Leek Bread Pudding from Southern Living December
Mini Eggplant Parmesan from Giada, the Everyday Italian
Kale and Wild Rice Casserole from Half Baked Harvest
Balsamic Drizzled Grilled Onion Slabs Proud Italian Cook

Here’s what I made from the November Paint Bucket:
Pumpkin Pie Wontons turned into Butter Pecan Pumpkin Dip adapted from I Want Crazy [my recipe will be posting soon]
Roasted Sweet Potato Salad with Cranberries and Pecans turned into Roasted Sweet Potato Spinach Salad with Maple Bacon
Creamy Pumpkin Pasta Bake from A Family Feast turned into Savory Pumpkin Pasta with Ham & Sausage

Sounds like you have a lot of great things planned! Lovin’ your turkey:@)
Lookin’ forward to these. 🙂
Jenna, I didn’t get any further than Bacon Bourbon and Brussels Sprout Skewers which is why it’s hard for me to organize my cooking thoughts…my taste buds get in the way! So many tasty bites and so little time! Hope you had a delicious Thanksgiving!
Everything looks so good, Jenna! I tend to cook less in December. We like little tidbits…and wine.:-)
Wow, you are so organized! These all sound so yummy, I don’t know what to try first,
but it will be fun to taste my way through them all! LOL
Thanks for sharing,
Patti
My mouth is watering!
