Tablescapes, Villa della Luna Giveaway!
Today’s the day! The Villa della Luna Giveaway!
This gorgeous Pfaltzgraff dinnerware is enchanting, and so versatile…I have had a LOT of fun playing with it…
It looks great outside
It looks great inside
It looks great set on a casual bar top for 2~
it looks fabulous everywhere!
It is happy in the garden
or at a fiesta
And on a picnic table by the sea~
This Pflatzgraff pattern, Villa della Luna was inspired by a delightful book “Dancing with the Moon”
Authors Jana Kolpen, “art that makes you smile,” and Mary Tiegreen take the reader on an adventure in learning and love through life’s pleasures of good food, wine and travel.
When Mademoiselle J travels to Italy, she stays at the enchanting Villa della Luna where she is invited to sit on the red couch.
The artwork on the platter is the same as the delightful watercolors throughout the book and the red couch is encircled with these words, “Mademoiselle was invited to sit on the extremely long wine-colored couch”
This glazed stoneware platter is a limited edition Anniversary piece celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Villa della Luna
Pflatzgraff, a division of Lifetime Brands, has generously offered to give one of my lucky readers four, 5 piece place settings of Villa della Luna, AND an Anniversary platter! Wow!
Each piece is different and has lovely details and character~ the shape of the salad plate is so unique!
The lovely colors provide many possibilities for mixing and matching~ bright blue, rich yellows and soft green, all in a wonderful blend with warm terra cotta. I was drawn to this pattern because of the colors and hand-painted look of the pieces. I think the bowls are my favorite, aren’t they stunning!
The pedestal mugs are elegant in shape, and the smallest plate can be used as a saucer, a bread and butter, or dessert plate. Don’t you love the bright blue center. These smaller plates repeat the pattern on another 10th Anniversary piece, the Parmesan Bowl with spoon. All the little details of this pattern make it so special~
The platter and Parmesan bowl have an anniversary stamp on the back/bottom
so sweet!
If you’re not serving soup or salad, you can always use the bowls decoratively!
Doesn’t this take you straight to bright, vibrant, sunlit Italy?
Put some fresh orange and basil on your table for an intoxicating aroma
My outdoor table isn’t big enough for serving pieces so we often pull up a side table
The anniversary platter is a great size
I did find my own red couch to hold some seaside touches in the table center 🙂
Tomorrow I will show you how to create this easy centerpiece with Villa della Luna~

Jenna, I’m all smiles this morning! I happily own this pattern and you did a fantastic job showing the versatility of Villa della Luna! What fun to see all your tables with this colorful and fun dinnerware and the sunlight highlighting your pieces! I’m in awe of how wonderful it looks on your countertop with the blue tile of your backsplash and soft maple color of your cabinetry and I love the whimsy of your own red couch centerpiece 🙂 The parmesan bowl and platter are such fun additions to commemorate the anniversary of Villa della Luna too. Best of luck everyone entering, I know whoever wins the set will be thrilled to have it!
Thanks so much Mary, you are a hard act to follow 🙂
We just purchased 8 place settings of Villa Della Luna, and am planning An afternoon in Tuscany luncheon. Love this pattern, and plan to purchase some of the serving pieces. When I saw this pattern on your blog, I knew that I had to have it.

Absolutely gorgeous set of dishes. These would be perfect in our 1920s ” Casa Tortuga” cottage by the sea . Would LOVE to win !!
So beautiful and PERFECT for this time of year!!!!
Love the Villa Della Luna collection. My favorite setting would be the outdoors setting., if I had too choose- The colors match my inside colors perfectly.
Villa della Luna is wonderful. All that great color. Outside, inside, but the casual look at the bar for two is my favorite. Happy Anniversary to Villa della Luna! (My Fiesta is looking forward to “helping” this set have a happy home at my house.)
Thanks Snap, I wish everyone could win!
I visited the Pfaltzgraff page, liked and left a Happy Anniversary to Villa della Luna post!

Just liked the Pfaltzgaff Facebook page. While all your pictures are amazing, my favorite is the setting on the cast iron patio table. My table and chairs are very similar, and this pattern would look beautiful. I’m already a follower of your blog….love it!
Thank you Emily, good luck to you!
I love Villa Della Luna. It is a beautiful, versatile pattern. The story is wonderful! This pattern would be fabulous on any of my tables.
I have my fingers crossed, knocked on wood, and made a wish!:-)
I like the long shot of the patio best!
Thank you Pat, good thinking to knock on wood, make a wish, and cross fingers!
I am a follower of The Painted Apron.
Villa della Luna is beautiful tableware! So much so, that I love the last photo, proving that it can be arranged in a basket rather than shut away in a cupboard and second as a beautiful countertop arrangement. Beautiful china is such a great way to compliment a great meal 🙂
I agree! Thanks Jane
Lucky will be the person who wins this! I am getting your blog by email already.
You have certainly set some beautiful tables with this pattern showing us how versatile it is. These colors would be fantastic on my back porch or pergola, don’t you think?
Yes, I do! Color is your middle name 🙂

I love this dinnerware and your stunning photos certainly honor all the best aspects of its pattern, colors, unique shape and versatility. (my favorite photo is the one of your table where sunlight is streaming through the window). I am not on Facebook, so I couldn’t leave a comment, but I have been a follower of yours for a while. Thanks for offering this giveaway!! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
Thanks Rosie!
I love it because of the beautiful colors and brightness. Very nice to look at and makes me feel happy. I love the picnic setting. I receive your emails. Thank you for the chance to win this lovely gift. Have a Happy Sunday!
Thank you Liz!
I have been in love with this set FOREVER! All of the tables here are beautiful, but I really like the way it looks on the counter. Largely I set tables for two, and sometimes we do eat at the counter, and I like it to be pretty as well.
Thanks Pattie, tables for two are my favorite~
I follow Painted Apron.
I commented on the Pfaltzgraff page.
I like Villa de Luna because it is festive and my favorite picture is fiesta
Thanks for commenting Carol, I love this china for Mexican!
Oh how gorgeous is this dinnerware, and those bowls with the colorful glazing inside are particularly beautiful! It would be perfect in our home here along Alabama’s Gulf coast, and the platter is just the ticket for serving up seafood … especially in an al fresco setting. Your lovely garden photo especially caught my eye. What a treat for the lucky winner; thank you for this opportunity! (I have also commented on the Pfaltzgraff Facebook page)
I am on the Gulf Coast too Sharon! Be sure to check out the Southern Bloggers Jubilee button on my sidebar, we meet in Fairhope once a month and would love to have you join us!I will tell you from experience, this dishware looks great everywhere, it just brings instant warmth with it’s bright colors~good luck to you!
I’ve just become one of your new followers!
My favorite of the photos is the one of the table setting with the tomato on the large anniversary platter and the basil and orange on the wood cutting board. Villa can take you to another part of the world while sitting at your own dinner table. The beauty that Jana created can take you to a magical place in her story books and make you feel like you are creating your own magical food settings.

That is one of my favorites too, thank you!
I commented on Pfaltzgraff page, became a follower and now I’m writing why I LOVE Villa Della Luna. I LOVE Villa Della Luna because of the color’s of the dishes. It reminds me of the Mediterranean water. It makes me want to escape in a warm soaked climate by the sea and live and eat outdoors. I love the first table setting because of how it is placed against the water. It definitely speaks romance and luxury. I LOVE it!
Thanks Nancy, I love the table by the water too~ good luck, I wish everyone could win!
I loved all the pics of Villa Della Luna, but the centerpiece in the basket with the bromeliad is my favorite. Will enjoy your post on how to make it.
Thanks Heidi, I am really enjoying the centerpiece!
So colorful and happy looking! Put’s a smile on your face. 😊
Thanks Tricia, this dishware definitely sets a cheery mood!
Your settings are very pretty Jenna-enjoy:@)
Thanks Lynn~

Great pattern and giveaway.

I’ve never heard of a pattern that was inspired by a book! How clever!
I am certainly not a blogger and usually do not participate but I so love the bright ocean inspired colors, certainly different that what I have and am used to my favorite picture is number 6 from the top and I like it because it is more typical of my environment. No I am not a follower but I do pop in from time to time. Villa Della Luna will be a big hit!
Thank you for commenting Tonda, I really appreciate you popping in from time to time! You are officially entered in the giveaway twice!
I absolutely love, love, love the pattern, Villa Della Luna. It is so fresh and makes me feel like I am experiencing a sunny tropical summer day! The 5th to the last photo makes me want to pull up a chair and enjoy a wonderful dinner. I also thought it was great used as a centerpiece.
Hope I win. Perfect for a poolside meal!
