Tablescapes, Rustic Country Farm

Time to put away the summer brights [Artist’s Garden]

But I’m not quite ready for the deep autumn colors of Fall [Pumpkins and Apples]

So I am easing into the season with muted greens and oranges, sort of like the leaves just starting to turn

Lovin’ your new veggie plates Jenna! Kinda sad to see the tomatoes fading out, but they sure were good while we had them:@)

  2. Oh how I love those plates and the lime soup bowls…they have Pat written all of them! Fantabulous, Jenna!

  3. Emily says:

Wow Jenna, All of these tablescapes are art, forget food (but the farmhouse pasta looks delicious)! I love it, and the adorable centerpiece of chickens pecking for food, stunning! I love them all, and look forward to your gorgeous tabes and food any time of year. Happy September.

  4. Mary says:

Jenna, Scary thought indeed with the holidays around the corner! I love your HG plates and your green bowls are beautiful with the warm terra cotta interior. Your chickens pecking for seed are too fun. We’re trying to enjoy the last of the season tomatoes too 🙂

  5. Rosie Moreno says:

Love, love, love this table, Jenna: especially your rectangular plates and chickens!! Colors are perfect and the whole tablescape is happy and welcoming!! Have a wonderful week!! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

  6. I’m 100% with you. I love the transition shown through produce and the lead up to harvest but definitely too soon for me to dive all the way into the browns and deep rusts of late fall. Such a lovely transition table you’ve done that strikes just the right note… 🙂

  7. Home Goods is just the diggity bomb, isn’t it? Love that place! Those are some of the most unique plates EVER!!! I can see you getting a million-and-one uses out of them year round!!! They’re perfect for so many settings! And are those HG crocks I see with that pasta meal in them? Love that color! 😉

This is neat because as you pointed out it is an easy transition. This is that time of year when it’s still kind of warm, sometimes cool, just sort of teetering back and forth. This setting captures that unsettled weather pattern in which most of us are living right now as summer fades and autumn is just heading in for the home stretch!

I read your response to Lory, and I understand about sometimes not feeling that a tablescape is up to par. Hold onto the pics, wait a year, and maybe you’ll feel differently about it. I often do that. Sometimes it has more to do with our state of mind than it does the actual tablescape. From what I can see, the excitement is there!

    Have a great week!

    • Thanks Alycia, I really appreciate your words, I know you have often said “I almost didn’t post this” when I couldn’t figure out why! My tablescapes usually fly together and this one was more of a chore…but I am pleased that it was well received. We are still very hot here, not a touch of fall anywhere except dried up flowers and leaves from the hot sun!

  8. Zenda says:

This is such a cute table!! I like to ease into fall as well and you’ve done it beautifully! The lighter orange and greens work so well together, especially with those cute plates!

  9. Kim says:

What a terrific plate find! You’re right – they are the perfect size for a salad bowl and a sandwich or salad. So versatile! The colors of your table are a wonderful ease into fall. Of course, I love the chickens, and that straw pear if gorgeous! Love your fun table, Jenna!

  10. Marigene says:

What a quaint table, Jenna! Those rectangle plates are great for transitioning into fall…love them.
    Have a great week.

  11. These are all so wonderful!Thank you for sharing and for linking up to the Thursday Favorite Things Bog Hop. Watch for your feature on Monday xo

  12. lulu says:

You are much closer to fall than I am, but with the way temperatures are dropping and the appearance of pumpkins everywhere, I may not be able to hold it off much longer. I have your flatware…TJ Maxx….so could we set a table together?

  13. juliaklimek says:

So pretty! It is hard going full-on-fall, so you’re transitining beautifully! Thank you for sharing at Merry Monday Linky! Julia

  14. Kim says:

This is such a cute tablescape Jenna! Your plates are so pretty and I love the bowls and the individual bread boards – what a great idea. Oh to be there in Tuscany or Provence dining on garden tomatoes! The chickens have stolen my heart lol. Happy Thursday to you!
