Tablescapes, Eat Drink & Be Merry!

A Holiday Stocking for a placemat?
Why there’s nothing wrong with that!
Napkins and flatware? Fill Santa’s boots if you dare~
Kick the ho hum out of your holiday decor and do something a little unexpected ~
Be fa la fabulous!
Wreaths don’t have to hang on a door
They can be a woodland centerpiece and more
Stockings don’t have to hang by the fireplace
They can hang from any ole place
Fur doesn’t have to be on a coat or a collar
A furry table topper here can stretch your dollar
Remember to eat, drink and be merry!
The holidays should never be scary!
So don’t stress, just have yourself a little fun!
The holidays have just begun
Raise your glass and give a toast
And put some chestnuts on to roast~
Thank you so much for your visit!

Wonderful table…love the stocking placemat idea. Great job!
I want your plates eat, drink and be merry so BAD!!!! I have looked forever and never can find just the perfect plate, but this is it. smile! And those black boots holding silverware….girl you outdid yourself.
Thanks Laurie! When I bought those plates they only had 2, I would have happily bought 10-12! I think they would be cute for any occasion, not just Christmas! I know you will have much fun with your precious family over the holidays~
What a new and ingenious idea of not only the difference in using stockings but the uniqueness of your wreath wow what great ideas you put together amazing.Susie
Thanks so much Susie!
Enjoyed the poem, and it’s nice to see your Christmas spirit shine through in this table! Very cute! I love the little sled. Have a great weekend!
thanks so much Debbie!!
Hush, hush and HUSH UP!!! Those Santa boots are just too dadgum cute for words! What a great idea all around! And where on earth did you find that wonderful birch bark wreath? I love that thing!!!!!!! Gimme! 🙂 I love the idea of using stockings as a little something-something beneath the plates for color, texture and joy. Another really terrific idea from the creative mind of Miss Jenna!
Thanks Alycia! I got the wreath at Home Goods, last thing I needed, but I plan on using it through the winter months…every year I swear I am not going to buy ANYTHING, and yet I always do!
thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop I will feature your beautiful post on Monday ♥
Woo hoo! Thank you so much Katherine!!
What a cute, fun table, Jenna! I love the mini sled and the Santa boots holding the napkin/flatware.
Have a great week.
OMG shut the front door! Those boots filled up and the stocking used as a placemat? Genius ideas…love your table!!
I’ve been out of town – can you tell? I’m catching up on all your posts tonight. 🙂 I love, love, love your wreath centerpiece. The wreath itself is amazing. And the things you added are wonderful, too. I think the stocking place mats are perfect with the boots – nothing like socks and shoes or anything. It’s Christmas! You are absolutely right – we should have fun! I also like that you loaded the boots with napkins and utensils. Your snowman goblets are great!
Thanks so much Kim, that table just created itself~ when I bought the wreath I had no plans for it and nowhere to put it, I just fell in love…I would love to have some more of those boots, they are fun to play with 🙂
You created such a well-thought-out tablescape! That wreath makes and incredible centerpiece and keeps everything contained right in the center of the table. And adding the stockings under the plates is so creative! Thanks for sharing with us this week at Your Turn to Shine!
Thank you Jamie!
There is something for every age group on this table and it all works well beautifully. Your table is unique, whimsical, creative and just too darn cute!! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a healthy Happy New Year!
