Tablescapes, Paint the Table Green!

I am joining the St. Patrick’s Day Blog Crawl at Cuisine Kathleen for St. Patrick’s Day, and painting the table Green!
It’s overflowing with shamrocks
and pots of gold!
Pinch me for luck if you dare
There’s plenty of gold flowing everywhere
You’ll get plenty of luck if you pull up a chair
What’s your idea of an Irish feast?
A baked potato and a slice of roast beast?
Come sit at the table and grab ye a spoon
Pot o’ Gold Soup’s on the menu, and it’s arriving soon~
A river of shamrocks spills out of the bucket, don’t worry, no mess
It’s filling the table with luck, we are blessed!
The rolling moss balls gather no stones
They’re tucked in the candle where more moss is grown
May the road rise up to meet you and rainbows be seen
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day paint your table green!
Join the fun over at Cuisine Kathleen on March 11 and see all the creative St. Patrick’s Day tables!
Stop back by tomorrow and I’ll show you an easy way to paint shamrocks and make some St. Patrick’s Day crafts
Juicy details
I placed the mats in an “Irish cross,” using 1 plain and 1 patterned mat
ceramic paint buckets/Hobby Lobby
shamrock glasses/JMdesigns

[…] Paint the Table Green! […]
Top o’ the morning to ya! Looks like you’re all set for St. Patty’s Day Jenna! And I’ll have a wee nip of the Baileys however you’re serving it-have fun:@)
What fun, Jenna! I love the way you have the shamrocks “spilling” out of the paint bucket!! This looks like a setting for a fun and festive feast, indeed. Thanks for sharing. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
Oh, now this is a table for St. Patrick’s DAy! You went all out! I love your paint buckets and the little pots of gold! How fun is this!!
That is one of the most creative centerpieces I’ve seen in a long time! How inventive to use an overflowing “paint can” and then label your table “paint your table green”. My favourite cute accent is the clothespins on the napkins saying “pinch me” – perfect!
I love how you painted your table green with shamrocks Jenna! The ‘pinch me’ clothes pins are too fun! Pot of Gold soup is my favorite too! ♣ ♣♣
That centerpiece is genius. I just love it. The pinch me clothes pins are so clever.
Where on earth did you find the ceramic paint bucket???
I got the paint bucket at Hobby Lobby, it’s part of their spring collection this year. I use it in my art studio for a trash can 🙂
Thanks. I’m making a visit to HL today.
Love this tablescape. Especially the flowing shamrocks. But… using clothespins painted green that say “pinch me” such a whimsical touch. Adorable! I want to copy that idea in the future. It is too cute.
thanks so much Valerie!
Oh, Jenna! You are so creative – a paint can!! How adorable. I love all of the shades of green. Together, they remind me of all of the different shades in Ireland. Your painted goblets are, especially, nice. I adore those shamrocks! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
thanks so much Diane!
Love how your table “overflows”!

Clever and festive, Jenna. Love your pot of gold.
Really cute! And I love your hand-painted shamrock goblets. A pot of gold sounds really good!
You are always so creative! The fabric idea is really neat- I enjoyed this! Have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I am loving that centerpiece – the overflowing paint bucket is the cutest thing spilling out the shamrocks and the moss balls. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day a bit early….. Candy

Thanks Linda!
I depend on you, Jenna, to get it right and you don’t disappoint. I especially like the way your fabric is spilling from the paint bucket. Very clever indeed!
Your centerpiece is so lovely and creative…love that shamrock material. Beautiful table!
You truly have an artist’s eye, Jenna, this is such a fun SPD table! Love the paint bucket overflowing a shamrock river…right down to the snap clothespin napkin holder. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us each week.
