Tablescapes, Dinner in the Cantina

We’re having a cozy little dinner in the Cantina tonight
Just in time for Cinco de Mayo
Since the wooden cantina sign is atop the burlap runner down the center of the table, the “centerpiece” is located at one end
It’s a little patio scene
with mismatched chippy metal chairs
and mini sombreros
Sunflowers in old wine bottles and free range chickens promenade down the table
Everybody gets their own maraca and sombrero
Green table mats are laid on the chair backs as well as at each place
A beverage station is at the opposite end of the table
Glasses at the ready for spicy Bloody Marys
and a tilted pitcher for Margaritas or Sangria
Atop the base green mat is a round blue mat and an orange straw charger
The dinnerware is a mix of Pflatgraff Villa della Luna and Napoli
Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Ay, Chihuahua! This Cantina is just stellar!!! I love the sombreros and the maracas, they are the perfect touches for celebrating Cinco De Mayo! I am loving the Bloody Mary glasses and the Cantina sign too.
Thanks Candy! Nothing like a little fiesta to spice things up!
You’re ready for a fiesta Jenna! I adore your painted cantina sign hanging in your bar area and on the table as a runne… the painted bottles, adorable maracas and sombreros too 🙂
Any excuse for a party Mary!
OMG I’m thinking Barbies would love your little patio set, it’s too cute! I said to the boys today “next Sunday we’ll do Cinco de Mayo, do you want burritos or enchiladas?”. The oldest… “I don’t know what that is but burritos sound good”. Just a glimpse into my world… Have a great week:@)
Really??? Send them down south, we’ll make them converts in no time 🙂 >
This is FABULOUS! Honestly, I do love anything associated with Cinco de Mayo, but yours is really special. Those sombreros on the backs of every chair is just icing on the cake. So clever, and fun!
