Take-out Tuesday, Slow Cooker Island Chicken Wings

I’ve been on Island Time lately…
Island Time: [def] a time vacuum created by the ocean’s presence, and everything moves slow and easy
This recipe is so simple and easy, it will bring some Island Time into your life
All you need is a slow cooker, chicken wings and some flavor from the pantry or fridge
Put the chicken wings in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper
Drizzle Teriyaki sauce liberally all over the chicken, top with marmalade and BBQ sauce
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, adding more sauce to keep chicken covered if necessary
And there you go, and you didn’t even break a sweat 🙂
And you can spend the day doing more important things

I’m always looking for a slow cooker recipe Jenna! I love the addition of the orange marmade in the wings too. Enjoy your fun in the sun 🙂
I’m always up for wings Jenna! Love the pineapple rum sauce too, might make that for dinner soon:@)
I think I’m inspired for dinner tonight! 🙂
Couldn’t be easier and you’ll have time to paint 🙂 >
Oh my, a big yum, Jenna, is sent to you! This sounds so easy and I think I may try it with drumsticks. Thanks for sharing another great recipe!
All of your photos are wonderful and relaxing just to gaze at, I need to find Island time. Your chicken recipe is perfect, I was thinking of a Teriyaki chicken yesterday. I like the idea of orange marmalade, I have it, but dont like on toast, so this would be perfect.

My mouth is watering looking at these pictures and reading this delicious sounding recipe. As much as I love to cook, there are days when i just want to take the day off and toss something into the crockpot. It never once occurred to me to make wings this way. Yummy!
Thanks Pattie, I love to cook too, but not every day, I tend to go in spurts and then scramble for something that takes no effort 🙂 >
Quick and easy are my two best friends when it comes to cooking! Have to pin the wings!
I just fixed this and it’ll be ready when I bring my son home from the hospital today. What a great, easy meal.
