Take-out Tuesday, Lazy Day Grape Salad

This salad is an old fashioned favorite that appears at many luncheons, showers, teas,  pot lucks and BBQs

It goes together in minutes, keeps for several days in the fridge, and is usually the first dish to be gobbled up on the buffet

The quantities are easily adjusted, you can make enough for 2 or 20!

It’s just grapes mixed with sour cream and cheese cheese and topped with brown sugar and pecans

You can also tweak how much dressing you want, keep it to a minimum, just enough cream cheese and sour cream to bind it together, or make it extra creamy

Top the grapes with a sprinkle of brown sugar and pecans, cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours

The sugar will melt into the creamy dressing, transforming these simple ingredients into a “Wow, what’s in this?” type recipe

It’s cool, crunchy, sweet and creamy!  Blueberries would be a great addition too~

This must be a southern salad as I don’t recall seeing it on any Yankee table! It sounds delicious. Grapes are one of my favorite fruits. I am going to make this for my next luncheon. Thanks for sharing, Jenna.
