Tablescapes, Stars & Stripes

A sea of stars
for the red white and blue
A wreath of roses with stars too
Stripes wave in the breeze and decorate chairs
There are plenty of stars and stripes everywhere!
Nothing says USA like good old red, white, and blue
Our flag is our symbol, tried and true
Salute to America, land of the free
Wave the star spangled banner so proudly
Gather with family and friends for some sparks
Fireworks and rockets launching right after dark
Celebrate this day in your very own way
Eat hot dogs, apple pie and yell Go USA!
The sky blue water
Now calm and serene
Will soon be full of boats, it’s quite a scene!
Stop by later this week and you’ll see what I mean!
We will join in for a while, then return to our seats
Watching the parade of boats go by just can’t be beat!
As the sky darkens the show will begin, and we will be able
to see fireworks over the Gulf showering more stars on this table
How do you celebrate the 4th of July?
With sparklers or parades or fireworks sky high?
Thanks so much for dropping by!

Lovin’ those pretty blue plates Jenna! Looks like you’re all set for the celebration-enjoy:@)
Oh Jenna loved your poem waving through the beautiful photos! 😉
Jenna, your setting is heavenly, and I love your rose wreath–genius! Have a great holiday!
I see that you are letting your creative self shine today both with words and color. I can’t believe it’s almost July and the 4th only a few days away. We’ll be enjoying multiple festivities in locations other than home and that’s probably a good thing since I’ve given not a single thought to the holiday.
It’s a wonderful 4th of July setting Jenna! I’ve been digging around for my red white and blue. So far haven’t found much. I might have to go shopping.;-)
Love your stars and stripes salute by the water Jenna! Your tall vase makes such a fun centerpiece and statement without completing with your view! Looking forward to your parade of boats 🙂
Gorgeous tablescape and July 4th decorating Jenna!
Hi Jenna, I love the wreath, the pretty table. Sounds like you are going to have a nice 4th of July. Thanks for sharing this at our Cooking and Crafting with J & J party.

Thanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!
The stars and stripes are well represented on your deck for the upcoming Independence Day celebration. What a fabulous setting for enjoying the festivities of the Fourth of July. The tall vase spilling flags from the top like a Roman candle exploding in air – how clever! I love your painted grapevine stars, I have been intending to paint by grapevine stars for years but have never gotten around to it – after seeing for cute they look on your table I am feeling inspired to get mine out and paint them in red, white, and blue too!
Thank you Candy! I must admit I bought the grapevine stars already painted, too easy and too cute to pass up! >
Beautiful table and the view cannot be beat! I am in love with those blue and white dishes, they’re stunning.
Have a great and safe holiday!
Thanks Christine, I got the dinner plates last year at Christmas Tree Shop, do you have those in your area? Lots of junk but sometimes good stuff! >
Gorgeous tablescape! What a beautiful setting as well.
What a great table for celebrating the 4th! Very patriotic and so beautiful with the water in the background. Enjoy the festivities!
Thanks Ann, happy 4th! >

This is soooo pretty! I especially love the wreath! Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos and for linking up with us at the #HomeMattersParty 🙂
What a great table – Love the dishes! But what I enjoyed most id that beautiful view you have! It must be fun when all the boaters are out there – lots to watch! Enjoy your beautiful porch view!
Thank you Patti, in the summertime the waterway is thick with boats, but luckily it’s a no wake zone so it’s not noisy. We never tire of our view, and can happily sit there all day…
