Home Decor, a little Knob Magic

I bought this little cabinet a few weeks ago, with changing out the knobs in mind
I love crystal knobs on furniture, and I recently put some on a dresser, see Chalk Painted furniture here
But I wanted something more weathered for this beach house cabinet
I didn’t realize how far off the door hardware was until it was delivered
hmmm….
I’m not one for matchy matchy anyway
So what do you think?
Oh oh, flying photo bomber
I got this little cabinet to store some art supplies and table linens
Now you’d never know the doors were wonky!
Changing out the knobs or hardware is a quick fix, and also an easy and fast way to update or redecorate a piece or a whole space
I used a variety of different knobs in my laundry room to keep things interesting
the cabinets all have different funky knobs
I have a variety of knobs on the closet doors at the beach house too
or you can jazz up plain wooden knobs with a little paint
Knobs can work magic!

Love all your assorted knob jewelry Jenna! The seahorse is a perfect design for the off center holes too 🙂
Perfect for the beach house! When I first looked at my house all interior doors had the original glass knobs… Didn’t notice until well after settlement that the woman changed them all out for regular old knobs from the Depot. I was bummed.
Happy 4th of July Week-enjoy:@)
That’s terrible!! Hope you’ve got some grilling plans for the weekend!
I like fun and funky knobs myself. I also like your adorned cabinet doors in that last photo.
If you wanted to keep the glass knobs you could have glued a thin wooden dowel into the hole and then drilled a new hole. That being said I really like the new mismatched knobs you replaced them with,
Oh wow, I would have never thought of that, and certainly couldn’t execute such a tricky task 🙂 but aren’t you the clever one! Thanks~ >
Luv these knob accents….super super creative!!!
Oh, clever!! We think alike, I have glass knobs for the bathroom on the way that I ordered last weekend.
Oh they will be so pretty in your bathroom Carole! >
The knobs are perfect! It seems so nice to have a space where you can go totally whimsical, like your beach house. I adore your cabinet knobs there!
Yes, it’s so much fun to have a place where I don’t have to be formal and anything goes! Thanks Kim! >
How neat! I love all the different knobs!
Thanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!
