Creations, Jazzing up a Table Runner

Beach themes and burlap are the furthest things from everyone’s mind as we are all waiting for crisp fall air
So pretend that starfish is a pumpkin, okay?
This is a quick way to change up a table runner and give it more width and a little accent…
Wide contrasting burlap ribbon and a few dots of glue…
My kitchen island has an elevated eating bar at the end
I used this widened runner to tie the 2 surfaces together for unity
I didn’t have quite enough ribbon to go the full length so I left each end like this for interest
Scattered shells on netting line the center, handy for covering up the wrinkles that wouldn’t iron out 😳
Fabric pumpkins spill over the elevated surface
To form the focal point for this buffet tablescape
There’s a coordinating centerpiece on the adjacent table
For storage, I loosely rolled the runner to keep it fresh for next time
Party’s over!
I will be posting this buffet full of food and recipes next time, along with some great do ahead food tips you might find handy for the holidays~

Thanks Rhonda, have a great weekend~ >
Jenna, I love this runner on your island and how it spills over with the burlap pumpkins. What a great way to embrace the fall season, even though we still have more summer ahead of us! Great colors, especially at the beach.
Happy weekend, RT…………
Thanks Emily RTR!
Love your marriage of the the seasons with the your shells and burlap pumpkins Jenna! I know your blogger friends must have been delighted to visit and join you at your beach retreat!
Clever you, Jenna, and kudos for blending the seasons. I’m transitioning slowly as I’m not ready for summer to be over. In Maine, it’s a short season.
Aww! This is so cute! Adorbs!
