Tablescapes, Coastal Thanksgiving

I have been in a sparkly gold mood lately and decided it would be fun to do some non traditional things for my Thanksgiving decor at the beach
Gold Leaf covered glasses and a palette of turquoise and orange
A fall vignette is already in place on the island with Pumpkins, Feathers and Leaves
I filled a lantern with shiny gold, turquoise and white ornaments and added Falling Leaves
The table is set with aqua dinner plates atop large square cream chargers with the wooden table left bare
Small dessert leaf plates top the stack, awaiting a slice of Praline Pumpkin Cheesecake or a Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie Cupcake
Gold Leaf stemware and glistening blue glass accessories add a festive party feel
Owl ornaments and plaid napkins
The centerpiece is rustic with a cut log pedestal, called a bonfire log
Topped with an acorn embellished candle, and bark turkey and a wooden Indian
Pilgrims join the fun on a bed of more leaves
A nut filled turkey bowl on a dessert pedestal
The napkins are tied with gold glitter ribbon, and a sparkly ball pick holds the owl in place
An ornament makes a great party favor
Just enough sparkle to make Thanksgiving at the beach very special~ and to add a dash of holiday excitement, and the promise of Christmas to come~
Coming up soon will be a tutorial for making these gold leaf glasses~
Be sure to check out all the inspirations on my Pinterest board Coastal Thanksgiving
Now that the table is set, time to think about what to serve~ Please stop by tomorrow to help me choose my menu!!

I love your stamped pie server Jenna! Your setting is perfect for the beach house-enjoy:@)
I love the punch of color your turquoise accents provide the traditional autumn colors at your table Jenna! It’s perfect for a coastal Thanksgiving along with your ornaments sparkling in your lantern too! Like Lynn, I noticed your ‘just here for dessert’ pie server too 🙂
I would not have thought to put those colors together but they work. Love the owl ornament. I noticed that immediately. Very pretty.
Cindy
Oh, Jenna, I love how you’ve “changed things up” by putting these colors together and making a perfect table that reflects coastal living, fall and a transition to the sparkling season about to start! I also want your “I’m Only Here for Dessert” pie server!! Thank you for sharing this……a great way to start my day. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
Thanks Rosie! You can order the dessert server on Amazon here http://www.amazon.com/Mud-Pie-Just-Dessert-Server/dp/B00ME1C83A >
You have some cute ideas here! I like the colors you chose. Seeing your little Pilgrims reminds me that I forgot to use mine when I prepped my tables cape. I like the use of the rustic log piece- great organic addition! The pie server is cute!
This is the funnest table I have seen! Love the goblets, waiting for the show and tell. To me, if I gold leaf something ordinary, it really makes it wonderful!
Why thank you Ellen, I am very flattered! I have been crazy over gold leaf lately, I just used some in a painting, and it turned out pretty cool~ the glasses are simple, and will be posting next week >
Hi Jenna,
I love your color scheme for Thanksgiving. I hope you have a nice weekend.
