Party Panache, 1-2-3 Party

Sometimes you just don’t have days or weeks to plan a party or special event
Like when you’ve been lollygagging around at the beach 🌴 for as long as you could and at the last minute hop in your car 🚗 to get home the night 🌙 before you invited the family 👨👩👧👦 over at 11 am for a birthday lunch 🍔 to celebrate your 2 grandsons 🎂 May birthdays… 🎈
🚗
So…take a deep breath, and grab your birthday party box
You do have a birthday party box right?
I have plastic boxes to store things for all occasions
It’s so handy, even though my birthday box is currently missing the birthday plate from the last party
I grabbed the silver “Charlie Brown look-a-like” tree
A little too girly…
So I eliminated the fru-fru and added football ornaments, cupcakes, and ice cream cones
🏃
The wooden cake puzzle is a family tradition, it comes out for everyone’s birthday
The blingy birthday vignette on the kitchen island was ready to greet the boys
At 8 am I raced to Target for fresh fruit, snacks, and pigs in a blanket stuff
🏇
And found star wars plates!
These boys are all about Star Wars ⭐️ You can see how I made the play table here
Next I drove thru Chick Fila and picked up chicken nuggets and sandwiches
🚗
I made a quick batch of strawberry lemonade*
🏃
I threw a bright cloth on the patio table and piled on some hastily brightly wrapped gifts…it’s not easy to wrap Star Wars Clone Wars Trooper Blasters…
🏃
Another find at my whirlwind trip to Target, the table round [$15] even has a zipper for easy on and off
🏃
I threw the pigs in a blanket in the oven
🏃
Put out some popcorn and cheese puffs
🏃
City life is so exhausting! 😴
Juicy Details
I ordered the gifts from amazon.com, they have everything…

*Strawberry Lemonade
I made a quick version using equal portions of Hubert’s Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade, a pitcher of ice and sliced fresh strawberries
This was inspired by Cafe Sucré Farine’s homemade Strawberry Lemonade here
What is your favorite party short cut? I am always looking for new ideas…

Jenna, Chick Fil A and blasters and lemonade~~your grandsons must have been thrilled! I don’t have a birthday box but I can see that it would be quite handy when the beach calls for too long. Happy Birthday to your little ones. Linda
I wish I was as organized as you are Jenna. I have a few storage boxes, problem is all my things are not in the boxes! I don’t think if you had been planning for a month this could be any better. Star Wars theme for a boy and all those goodies, my Connor would love it. Now my only question is when will you return to the beach? Soon I suspect…………
Thanks Emily, I struggle daily to stay organized especially with all my “back and forthing” 🙂
You are my Grandma IDOL Jenna! I’m taking it all in and saving it up for my turn!!! 🙂
My family would prefer Chic-fil-A to just about anything! Great party because you were organized ahead of time with that box full of magic!
Very cool! I’m sure the kids had a “blast”:@)
Jenna, I believe you are “Wonder Woman”! I know the grands enjoyed their party…how can you miss with Star Wars and Chick-fil-A???
Whew…I’m exhausted with your awesome whirlwind party planning Jenna! Amazon,Target and Chick-fil-A to the rescue! Thank goodness for Amazon Prime too 🙂
Jenna, it sure doesn’t look like it was quick and easy. It looks like you planned for days. Everything is so festive. Love the idea of the football ornaments on the tree. The tablecloth and the brightly wrapped packages look so cute. And how cute are those Star Wars costumes. I know the grands were thrilled and will have a lifetime of wonderful memories of your b’day celebrations.
You are too kind Laurie, I really did rush through things, but they loved it, what can be better than squirt guns, star wars, and presents! >
