Creations, Harvest Tree & Table

I haven’t been to Hobby Lobby all summer 😱
I’m sure their profits are way down ⬇️
With creating a fall tree in mind, I headed over to check out their selection of fall goodies
I spotted this low priced olive bucket and thought it would be perfect to use with my Charlie Brown tree
*Psst…This is the 8th theme I have used for this scrawny silver tree, that I bought 4 years ago at HL and is still available
I started with the orange berry picks,
They were secured with brown pipe cleaners
A piece of wide decorative mesh was tucked down into the bucket to cover the base and provide a fluffy bed for the bottom of the tree
Then I just started sticking and hanging
Let’s try it out, and put it on display
In the center of the foyer you can see it from every which way
Everything on the tree is orange, white, black and creamy,
I was pleasantly surprised, I think it looks dreamy!
I love the soft colors with touches of black
Oh I wish I had added some mini haystacks!
This palette is a soft nod not only to fall, but to Halloween
See that cute little scarecrow, he’s just dying to be seen!
Oh, and did I mention the tree is also covered in mini LED lights?
It keeps things cheery on these earlier dark nights
It doesn’t have to be Christmas to have lights on a tree
Any time of year is a good time for me!
My favorite part of this month boils down to this reason,
It won’t be long now, it’s almost pumpkin season!!
Thank you for visiting!

Very clever Jenna! Love it.
I love your harvest tree Jenna! I’m overdue a visit to Hobby Lobby myself…I need to fire up my broom and check out their Halloween goodies )
I’m a year round tree person, too, and I love yours. I’m not quite ready to sink into fall decorating yet, though. I just want to stretch summer for a bit, though yesterday I took down a few things in anticipation! You’re getting me inspired!
Jenna, what a cute harvest tree…love it positioned where you can see it from several rooms. I am long overdue for a trip to HL. Happy Wednesday, Pam
Love it. And love hobby lobby.
Your tree is cute! Thanks for the HL link, we don’t have one around here. I enjoyed scrolling through Halloween and Christmas:@)
You always find cute stuff at $ store, I never have any luck when I go- >
It seems that summer has just begun here and it’s almost over. Still, I can’t think about fall just yet.
Jenna, I love your little harvest tree. You always have such creative projects, and I think I could do this one. Inspiration to think fall too, thanks………..
I had a lot of fun with this Emily, and it’s going to be easy to transition it to Thanksgiving and keep it around until Dec- have fun! >
So cute! I have a tabletop tree that has stayed up year-round, I’m heading to the Dollar store tonight to see what I can find “fallish” to hang on it. The berry picks are a great idea, as is the scarecrow.
It all looks amazing! I love the idea of the mesh in the bottom of the olive bucket. Your tree turned out so gorgeous and is a centerpiece of beauty. I laughed out loud about profits for HL being down because you missed some shopping duties. Have a greeat week.
Thanks Valerie, I always buy too much when I shop HL! >
What a darling idea! Love it…it turned out beautifully! Thanks for sharing. Now I need to make a visit to HL myself. 🙂
Painted Apron,
This is just too, too cute, dear one!
LOVE the mini lights!
Fondly,
Pat
thank you Pat! >
Thanks for sharing your harvest tree. I am intrigued by the doors on the side of the entry hall that have curved tops. Can you show them ?
Sure Myrna, it will be a few weeks until I am back there, I will do a post featuring the doors, they are the reason we bought the house. Thanks for visiting! >
Very creative and perfect for Fall! ( I wish they had a Hobby Lobby here in Canada but unfortunately they don’t.) Re your curved doors, like Myrna I would love to see more of them as they appear to be a beautiful architectural detail. Also, your Dining Room chairs are gorgeous …. swoon … ☺. -Brenda-
Thanks Brenda, yes I will do a post showing the doors in a few weeks, there are 3 sets of french doors in the house, and I do love them. Thanks so much for stopping by- >
SO pretty! Just love this! 🙂
