Tablescapes, October Picnic, Popcorn & Pumpkins!
October is a busy month full of fall festivities
and thoughts of falling leaves and Halloween are common proclivities
But please remember it’s also time to honor all the brave who have battled breast cancer
And so far we haven’t found the answer
Please think pink this month to raise awareness
These disease strikes with no thought to fairness
To have some fun with pink today
I’ve brought pink pumpkins out to play
I’ll wear my hat, to shade the sun
And pop pink popcorn just for fun!
Lots of pink and my favorite blue
Pumpkin pillows and mermaids too…
Girls just want to have fun
And enjoy a day in the sun
Sweet pink roses and a flip flop or two
A pretty place setting with a view
Enjoying every precious day is the best plan
Please spread the word, and donate if you can-

Important post with pretties, too. I can get behind the idea of pink pumpkins! I suppose all of us have someone close to us who did battle with this disease; in my case it is a first cousin my age, and she too won the battle. She has been clear for over 10 years!
