Oh, so clever and fun, Jenna! I’ve never been to NOLA, and can only imagine the craziness of Mardi Gras getting that town’s norm even more intense.
Thanks Rita, they even close the schools for Mardi Gras week in areas of the Gulf Coast, partying is serious business 🙂
Oh my! You’ve outdone yoursel Jenna, with all this Mardi Gras decor!
Love your sense of fun and whimsy at the table Jenna! I need to pull out my Mardi Gras glasses you painted for me to let the good times roll! Your centerpiece floats my boat 🙂
Your table looks so festive! Fat Tuesday is later this year, so I am planning to put up Mardi Gras tables after Valentine’s Day.
Always fun to have an excuse for a party:@) Looks like you’re all set!
Mardi Gras celebrations are so much fun and you’ve captured the spirit perfectly in your festive tables Jenna!

Love your poetry and pictures, Jenna!! I’ve never been to your part of the world, but it looks like this is the season to see it at its most festive. Enjoy! And thanks for sharing your beautifully colorful decorations! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
Thanks Rosie, it’s a lot of festive fun! >
You are all set and the decor is right on point. Then there’s that Chardonnay Pound Cake….drooling over here!
I know right? Have your cake and drink it too 🙂 >
Amazing table with all of your wonderful decor. I have been trying to leave a comment on your blog lately it says Spam is blocked. Tells me to leave a URL, which I did. Then says leave an @. Then it will say I need to subscribe to emails which I have already done quite some time ago. Don’t know why it is not working for me to leave a direct comment. I would love to do so Thanks. Have a wonderful week. candlelightsupper Valerie

I’m so sorry you’re having trouble Valerie, I have no idea what’s going on with that but I will look into in, thanks >
Really cool decor (and poetry!) for the mother of all parties known as Mardi Gras. I will definitely be getting out the fun wine glasses I won at your giveaway last year. I like to put them on the coffee table so I can look at them, not hide them in a cabinet. I am still in Valentine mode here, till the 15th, and then I will change to MG. I was looking at Party Time a few days ago, and they have tons of fun stuff!
Thanks Ellen! I’ve got Valentine decor at one house and Mardi Gras at the other, best of both worlds! >
Looks like a great party you have cooked up.
Jenna, you fun rhyme and table would put anyone in the Mardi Gras spirit!
You certainly have captured the party spirit with this table!! I love the intense colors in the Mardi Gras pallet! Enjoy your Mardi Gras festivities!!!
Thanks Ann! >
Wow, love the celebration of Mardi Gras at your home Jenna! You captured all the fun, color and delicious food in the post. The pound cake looks so delicious, I’m sure it is with a cup of coffee. I would love that for breakfast now.
Have a wonderful week.
I always love your poems, Jenna, and your fun parties at you house. Your painted mask is a work of art. I made a King Cake once, but I’d love to try your crescent roll one.
Thank you for your visit to see my baking fun with one of my granddaughters. ❤️
Beautiful Jenna. You have some awesome accessories for that special day- Mardi Gras. The King cake looks terrific. I have never made on. Loving your artistic skills.
Can you believe I’ve never made a king cake for my family? Your recipes look great, especially the pound cake! I think your napkin rings made from Mardi Gras beads are so cute. Love the tablescape!
Thanks Ricki Jill! I tried to make a version of your Coconut cake and it was a huge flop because I was trying to get inventive. I am going to try again soon and follow your recipe, I have been craving it since I read the book! >
Wow…looks like so much fun!
