Party Panache, Donut Party

When I made a Donut Cake a few weeks ago, I had no idea CC was having a donut themed birthday party!
“hey mom, I ordered some lollipops, like the ones in this picture, for party favors, any ideas how I can display them?” asked DD
“I could always do this route with a faux present” she said
“Can you please help me??! I will design the tags for them,” she said
I don’t know what she used to design the tags, but you can use PicMonkey to make something similar
DD has a demanding career, 2 active young children and a husband who is currently on crutches with a broken bone in his foot…this girl needs all the help she can get!
My first thought was to turn a styrofoam ring into a donut…hmmm…what could I do to make that better…
A donut pillow!!
Good old Amazon to the rescue! This adorable sprinkles donut is the perfect size, 16″ in diameter
CC can use this cute pillow in her room after the party, you can get one here
I also got the styrofoam ring on Amazon here
T pins were used to secure this blue open weave burlap ribbon onto the styrofoam ring
I used Glue Dots from the craft store to put the stickers on the lollipops
DD ordered the lollipops from Amazon here
The birthday party was joint, with one of CC’s best friends, Owen. His birthday is right after hers and they had a joint party last year too. A pink donut for her and a blue ring for him
I secured the donuts together with a ribbon on each side
“Mom, will you do a chalkboard too?”
Owen’s Mom made donut birthday cakes, soooo cute!
Pink ballerinas for CC
And green ninjas for Owen and St. Patrick’s Day
Such a cute idea for a child’s birthday party and easy to serve too
The lollipops were placed on the sideboard near the front door and the children could take one on their way out when the party was over
CC & O had a very happy birthday!
Thank you for visiting!
