Take-out Tuesday, Slow Cook Creamy Pork Chops

I know a lot of us are spending much more time in the kitchen than usual…
At first we felt like this was a challenge, and we were up for it,
But as we enter week 4 or 5 of isolated living,
Are you getting quite tired of kitchen duty?
Here is a recipe that will fill bellies, tastes good, and requires almost zero effort
Yes! I said ZERO effort!!
All you need is a couple of cans of soup
I used Cream of Chicken and Mushroom Cooking Soup, new from Campbells
but you can use whatever cream soups you have on hand
Give the chops a quick sear in a hot skillet and season with salt and pepper
Mix the soups together in slow cooker
Add chops and push them down into the soup
Slow and low for about 4 hours
Dinner’s ready!
The chops are so tender, they will fall right off the bone
Serve them topped with additional sauce from the slow cooker

SLOW COOK CREAMY PORK CHOPS
Equipment
- slow cooker
Ingredients
- 3 bone in thick pork loin chops
- 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Sear chops over high heat in hot skillet 1-2 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spray or line a slow cooker and add soups. Stir to mix together. Add chops and push down into sauce. Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours. Meat will be very tender, and falling off the bone. Serve with noodles, rice or potatoes and ladle sauce from slow cooker over all.
Embarrassingly Easy 🙄

[…] Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops from Buns in My Oven became Slow Cooker Creamy Pork Chops […]
Jenna, this is a good recipe to make. This is one of my old standbys, and I have even made it with chicken breasts. If I have it, I will add onion soup mix to the cream soup. It’s really tasty. Take care, and enjoy your day!
hi Shannon, this is an oldie but goodie, with lots of variations…I know many aren’t fans of Creamed can soups, but I love the stuff, so handy 🙂 And I also use onion soup mix a lot, great pantry items!
Good morning Jenna, that might be an oldie but it sure looks delicious! I am getting a little tired of trying to be creative with items in the pantry. We need an Instacart delivery soon. Tonight’s menu will be pinto beans with sausages and cornbread, a real Southern meal! Happy Tuesday, it is beautiful here! Beauty after the storms…
Oh that sounds good! Scary storms, such devastation, my heart breaks for our fellow Southerners that were affected…
Maybe I’ll put these on my next delivery list! I do have the pork chops. I often forget to pull out the slow cooker but maybe this is the time for good experimenting!
The slow cooker is my best friend, I hate to have to cook dinner late in the day!
Now this is my kind of cooking! I love making easy recipes in the crock pot that taste good. I will be making this recipe for sure.
Hope you have a nice week Jenna and thanks for the recipe.
Oh good, thanks Julie 🙂
No slow cooker, no creamed soups but I do have the pork chops. I’ll make a sauce and cook them low and slow in the oven. Thank you Jenna for the inspiration.
Thanks Karen, low and slow is my favorite way to cook pork, makes it so tender!
Oh yea!, oh, so good, especially with mashed potatoes and the soup-gravy. Yea! 😋 I have all these ingriedents, gotta remember to do this. Thanks.
Thank you Cyndi, I love easy!
New quick and easy dinner options are certainly appreciated right now! Keep the slow cooker recipes coming 🙂
thank you Mary!
I’m so glad I didn’t miss this post, I love this recipe. Yes, I’m am running low energy in the way of planning meals and this is a super easy and I suspect delicious recipe. Keep them coming Jenna, I need a break! 🙂
😂 happy to help! I know this is a stupid easy recipe that’s been around for a while but throwing meat or chicken in the slow cooker with a couple of cans of soup always yields an easy tasty dinner!
Looks yummy Jenna and zero effort sounds great right now! Seems all I have done lately is cook and bake. OH MY! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Yes, I think we all have kitchen burn out!
I make these, too, Jenna! It is such an embarrassingly easy recipe, but sooooo good!
