Holidays, Happy Labor Day!

As the sun sets on the summer of 2020

We are spending the weekend on the coast with extended family

Celebrating being together,

safely with outdoor cookouts and boat rides

As we enter into a new season,

we all have much to look forward too, with cooler temps,

fall decor and holidays

As we all continue to struggle with new challenges and change,

focusing on enjoying all the little moments,

all the small blessings and things we do have,

can really help bring peace to our souls…

I hope you are having a happy and healthy Labor Day weekend!

Jenna, I agree with you whole heartedly about appreciating the little things. I count my blessings everyday, and I find it brings me the most peace. I hope you enjoy your holiday with your precious family. I have to tell you…I adore the painting of the little boy with the truck. I assume that it must be one of your sweet grandbabies. Take care, and happy Sunday!

Sending love to the coast for you and your gang. Watch a lovely sunset for me. I am making this a true Labor Day by actually cleaning out my craft closet–to be followed by couch time and a huge dose of Turner Classic movies. Happy Labor Day, my coastal friend! Georgia Gal

  11. Thank you! And that sounds like a perfect day to me! Enjoy Georgia Gal!!

Where did summer go? Whew, it flew by for sure. Jenna, I want you to know I made your wonderful “Picnic Chicken” nugget recipe again last week when we were at our friends cabin up north and everyone LOVED it. They even were nibbling on the left behind little parmesan cheese pieces in the dish! Lol Gave out your recipe to two friends so now your dish is a big hit in upper Michigan! 😁 Glad you had a fun, family filled Labor Day. I am making the transition to fall slowly, but my love for pumpkins is tugging at my heart so that should help, hehe. 🍊🍂

Such a lovely Labor Day weekend here, even if it was different. We usually are visiting somewhere with family but not this year. Glad you were able to enjoy a safe family gathering and in such a beautiful place. Love all your paintings and that gorgeous vignette……..
