Recipe Box, Peppermint White Hot Chocolate and White Chocolate Peppermint Treats

is White Chocolate Peppermint,

perfect for dreaming of sugar plum fairies,

Santa Claus, sparkly trees and a snowy white Christmas!

Let’s start with a steaming mug of hot chocolate,

topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup…

Or even better, a mug of Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

with a mound of whipped cream

sprinkled with white chocolate peppermint bark!

You can make this cozy comfy treat in under 5 minutes with only 5 ingredients šŸ‘

Whipped cream, milk, white chocolate, peppermint bark or peppermint candies

Peppermint extract {not pictured}

Put 1 cup of milk {I used 2%} into a microwavable cup,

add white chocolate and extract {optional},

cook for 2 minutes on high, stir,

top with whipped cream {I used light}

garnish with chopped candy and enjoy!

Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

A delicious change from hot chocolate, this peppermint white hot chocolate can be made for 1 in 2 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk {whole or 2%}
  • 2 oz. white chocolate chips
  • 1/8 tsp peppermint extract optional
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream
  • chopped white chocolate peppermint bark or chopped peppermint

Instructions
 

  • Put milk in a microwavable cup.
  • Add chocolate and peppermint extract {if desired}. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • Stir to melt chocolate. Top with whipped cream and garnish with peppermint candy

Notes

I used white peppermint bark which is made with both white and dark chocolate and flavored with peppermint, but you can use any peppermint candies or mint candies you like

    • What fun to have a Cocoa bar! I am decked out šŸ˜‚ spent the weekend decorating and had a LOT of help from one of my grandsons, he insisted on getting everything out {it’s clutter city!!} So I am going to do some decluttering while he’s at school today šŸ˜‚
