Tablescapes, A Tiered Tray for Flag Day

Tomorrow, June 14th, is Flag Day in the USA,
a holiday commemorating the adoption of the stars and stripes flag
representing our country on June 14, 1777
I decided to create a tiered tray for Flag Day
This is a small, 2 tier tray and it’s a great size for a centerpiece
As I shopped my house for red, white & blue,
I discovered quickly that the things I had were very few!

We are always on the coast for the summer holidays,
but I did have a flag banner, a red and white towel,
and a flag bandana

A trip to Hobby Lobby was a red white and blue bonanza!
They had a large selection of tray sized decor
and I also picked up star chargers and flag paper plates
The one thing that I really wanted, small flags, I forgot to get…
but I solved that quickly by finding free flag images,
and putting them on a printable page with PicMonkey
Then I printed them on card stock and cut them out
I made a printable so you could have some too!
Click here for the free printable
The star place card holders are usually used at Christmas time,
but they are perfect for holding the paper flags at each place
I put paper flags on the tiered tray too
I brought out Bloody Mary glasses for the table
because they are painted with big red tomatoes,
perfect for summer!
You can see a tutorial for painting tomatoes here

I also added a couple of containers to the centerpiece
for faux red & white flowers and stems I had

The swirly white stems look festive
and remind me of a firecracker shooting up in the air 🧨
Hooray for the USA!
Are you going to celebrate Flag Day?

More summer tablescapes coming up this week!

That’s a very cute and practical tiered tray.. I can see it in my kitchen with some fruits, or bathroom with some makeup stuff or on a dining room table with some treats. Love those swirly white stems … I think I have some in silver colour..just not sure where they are now :-))
I hide stuff from myself all the time too Angie 🙂
Well, you knocked that out of the park by going to HL, didn’t you?! I like the two-tier tray, and those are such cute chargers and paper plates. And you saved yourself a few Georges by making your own place cards! That banner as runner looks great. Really, it all looks so well put together. I’m into little serving pieces right now, and I love those little red bowls with white bands on the plates. God Bless the USA! 🙂
Thanks so much Rita, I got the red ramekins at HomeGoods last year right before Covid lock down, they are great for individual desserts or dip bowls
I always enjoy your blog posts. Thank you for all your great ideas.
Thank you so much Nancy, much appreciated!
Excellent job as always Jenna, it’s gorgeous!
Thanks Martha, have a great week!
Jenna, I love your tiered tray and table in celebration of Flag Day. What a lovely way to honor our flag, and I am most proud of Old Glory. Long may she wave over the land of the free 🇺🇸
Amen Pam!
Too cute, and nice to combine what you have with something new! Nice to be able to browse and shop again.
Isn’t it though! Yay for freedom!
Very nice Jenna! I always enjoy seeing red, white and blue… And yep, my flags are out:@)
Happy Flag Day Lynn!
Jenna, your red, white, and blue theme makes this patriotic heart sing! Everything looks beautiful and your tiered tray is precious. Our flags are out and proudly flying strong. I hope you have a most beautiful week ahead!
Thank you Shannon, Happy Flag Day!
I loved your tier tray! But your tablescape was “Glorious!” Old Glory never looked so good!
Loved your tomato glasses!
Happy Week to You!
Thank you Nancy, have you tried painting tomatoes, they’re lots of fun!
You know I’ll want to try when tomato season comes!
Such a darling tiered tray and I love the tablescape. I just put away my lemon table decor on Saturday. Thinking about something beachy for rest of summer. Maybe I will give my table a rest. LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thank you Cindy, go for the red white and blue!
Your patriotic displays are fabulous, Jenna! Long May she wave 💙 🇺🇸 ❤️
Thanks Kitty!
I would never even think of doing a flag day table. I don’t even know when it is! But it’s darling!
Thanks Jeanie! Flag day is today!
Thank you so much for the printable! Love your patriotic decorations!
You are so welcome Ann! Thanks for your kind words!
