Halloween Decorating Ideas

I am participating in a Halloween Tablescape Blog Hop
coming up on Oct. 10
I have been looking through the archives
for ideas and things I can use for a tablescape
and inspire myself to start decorating for Halloween

Have you started decorating for Halloween?
I’m sharing some photos of vignettes from the past
to motivate myself and give you inspiration
A witch hat decorated with pumpkins and sunflowers
makes a cute centerpiece or table decoration
How about a “potion station” for mixing up a “magic brew”

A Halloween Tree is a cute idea
The ghosts are made with white cupcake papers
Glass jars full of candy, cheese balls and popcorn grouped on a tray
make a festive decoration, centerpiece and snack station

October 1 means it’s time to hang a Halloween wreath on the door
I love to decorate this tiered tray for the season or with a theme
You can see the tutorial for the Halloween Tray here
A box or deep tray is perfect for a Spooky Centerpiece

How about a Pumpkin Witch!

I have several pairs of witch legs that are a lot of fun to play with

One year they landed in a big glass of candy corn!

Don’t forget to add a friendly ghost or two!

It’s time to set the scene,
it’s almost time for Halloween!
I will be joining these fabulous parties and blogs

Thanks for the spooky fun this morning Jenna! I’m ready for all things pumpkin and Halloween! Looking forward to hopping with you on the 10th! 🎃 🐈⬛ 🧹🕸️ 👻 🎃
Thanks Mary, your favorite time of year!
So many ideas Jenna…thanks for the inspiration. I don’t know how the calendar has moved to the end of September all ready. Today, marks the anniversary of Hurricane Ian…as many prepare for the future, and Life goes on. Have a great week.
Oh Kari, an awful day…but yes life does go on, even though sometimes we are overwhelmed…you are in my prayers…
These are so cute, Jenna! It also reminds me that I bought your Halloween coasters as a gift last year and then my friend and I didn’t do the exchange so either I need to dig them out for her — or for me! Ha!
Thank you for buying coasters Jeanie, which design did you choose?
Jenna, I love your fun Halloween round-up. There are so many fabulous ideas. One of my favorites is the Pumpkin Witch! I look forward to hopping with you for Halloween 🧡 Happy Thursday!
Thanks Pam, I know your grands will be excited for Halloween!
Jenna, you have inspired me to start getting out my Halloween decor! The pumpkin witch is adorable as well as the witch on the door and at the bottom of the staircase. I can’t wait to see your Halloween table. Happy Thursday!
Thanks Shannon, I’ve got to get busy, I have no idea what I’m going to use for my table!
Witch legs everywhere!
I think witch legs are so fun!
Me too!
We don’t celebrate Halloween here, but I love to see all sorts of creepy and fun decorations.
How come I am now anonymous?
All of a sudden WordPress changed something, and I can’t explain it. I’m having trouble commenting on some Blogger posts, don’t know what is going on!!
I like the cute stuff but not the gory stuff!

What cute ideas! That which hat table is darling along with the pumpkin witch! And then I saw the chandelier… how cute is that!
I also like the potion bar!
Great ideas! Thanks, Jenna!
Thanks Nancy 👻🧙♀️🎃
So cute!!! You have so many great ideas, Jenna. Yes, I’ve decorated for Halloween. I can’t wait to see how J likes it this year. It should be fun. 🕷👻🧙♀️🎃
The joys of being a grandmother! Thanks Rita 🎃👻🧙♀️
My favorite is the pumpkin witch, and she makes a great segue into all the witches’ legs which immediately make me think of The Wizard of Oz, one of my favorite childhood books.
I love the cute fun side of Halloween but not the creepy gory side!
Loved all these spooky fun ideas! Thanks for providing so much Halloween inspiration!
Thank you Laura!
I don’t really decorate for Halloween much anymore now that the kids are older, but your post makes me want to add a little Halloween holiday flair! Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh good, have fun Kim!
Thanks for the reminder that Halloween will be upon us like a magic spell before we know it. You have some wonderful ideas I might appropriate. I must turn a “fall” mailbox into a Halloween display. Gotta’ say I LOVE those witch legs! Thanks, Jenna, for being such a decorating maven! Georgia Gal
Thanks Georgia Gal, I can’t believe tomorrow is Oct. 1! Time to get our brooms out 😂
I like the humor you place in your Halloween decorating adventures!
Thanks Mary, I only like the cute side of Halloween, not the creepy, gory stuff 🎃🧙♀️👻
So many adorable ideas. I particularly like the witch hat with the sunflowers and the legs in the chandelier !! I personally seldom do decorations -perhaps some mums and pumpkins out on the stoop but that’s about it.
Now that my grands are getting older I’m doing less, but it;s still fun to have some Halloween around, but I’m slow this year, it’s been so hot I haven’t even bought pumpkins and mums! Thanks Judee 🎃
I just tried to leave a comment on your blog and got an error message. This has been happening all week on certain blogs, I don’t know what’s going on and I’ve had readers tell me they’re having trouble on my blog too. Don’t know what’s going on, sorry!!
Same been happening to me on some blogs. I try to refresh and then start over again and it sometimes (but not always) works. So frustrating.
Thanks for letting me know Judee, I am going to contact WordPress about it, it’s driving me crazy!
Very cute ideas Jenna. I am ready for Halloween. The witch hat with sunflowers is darling. I sent you an email about commenting.
Thank you Linda, Happy October!
Hi Jenna,
I just tried to leave a comment and got some weird error message – something to the effect that the network had detected a change??? I’ll check back later to see if it went through. I saw your comment that some people were having some trouble. Take care down there (WP can be so annoying at times lol).
Sorry Kim, I don’t know what’s going on with the comment thing, it’s driving me crazy!
I am going to try again Jenna. I love all these wonderfully creative ideas for Halloween. The witch’s hat is so cute and the boxed centerpiece and tiered tray are both adorable. I couldn’t help but smile at the witch legs – especially the one in the candy corn. How ever did you get them to stay up? Thanks for all the fun ideas and happy Wednesday to you!
hi Kim, your first comment came through, that’s so nice of you to try again. I can’t remember how I got the legs in the candy corn to stand up, I think I had wooden dowels inside them 🎃🧙♀️
