Take-out Tuesday, Winter Roasted Grape Salad
When the weather is cold and dreary,
add something warm to your salad

I love to add fruit to salads,
and when I learned that you could roast grapes,
I had to try that!
I added them to a salad along
with a tasty cheese and nuts~
So simple and so good!

Roast the grapes just like you would any vegetables,
on a foil or parchment paper lined baking sheet,
drizzled with oil and seasoned with salt and pepper

Roast for about 15 minutes at 400 degrees F

Toss them with some crispy romaine,
a diced flavorful cheese, and some toasted nuts

I used Asiago cheese and pine nuts

Dress with a vinaigrette,
such as Maple and Mustard Salad Dressing*
*recipe included at the end of this post

Warm sweet grapes, crispy lettuce,
crunchy nuts and tangy cheese!

Thanks Jenna for this inspiration. There are lots of great flavors in that salad.
Thank you Bernadette!
Jenna, this salad sounds yummy! I am always trying to think of a different side dish to serve, and this sounds wonderful. I think it would also be delicious with diced grilled chicken in it too as a main meal. Thanks for sharing! Happy Tuesday!
