Painted Garden Stakes
I am resharing a post from the archives today
I hope it inspires your Spring gardening!
Give your flowers and plants a little extra encouragement this year
Surround them with perky painted garden stakes
to help them GROW BIG
and BLOOM
and SPROUT
Just for fun I glued beads and bits and pieces on top
My little garden girl holds the watering can at the ready
HHjr’s fruit and vegetable patch
is tucked in a far corner of the back yard
at the edge of the woods
These are 1.5″ x 1.5″ poplar posts that I got at Home Depot
I gave them a light coat of spray paint
and then painted each side with different text,
designs, shapes and colors
This is the kind of gardening I like,
gardening with my paint brush
