Trick or Treat! Snickers Pot Pie!

Happy Halloween!
Belly up to the bar and have a glass while the Snickers Pot Pie is baking!
Things are busy today
Astronauts are carving pumpkins!
You have to be fearless!
Pumpkins just look scary!
Danger is brewing in the kitchen
We’re making Snickers Pot Pie!
The snickers must be totally buried in dough
Then baked to a golden glow
10-12 minutes until they just start to ooze
Then into the pot,
There’s no time to lose!
Melted chocolate, caramel and a hot doughy bite
The true danger lies in how many you’ll eat tonight!
It’s really quite shocking how good these “pies” taste
You can be sure there they won’t go to waste!
Use them to keep the goblins at bay~
and have a frightfully delightful Halloween day!
Here’s the recipe:

SNICKERS “POT PIE” [Chocolate Croissants]
Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough [use reduced fat if you like every little bit helps!]
- 12 fun size Snickers candy bars
Instructions
- Separate dough into 4 rectangles, pinching triangles together.
- Cut in thirds and gently stretch each piece of dough. A rolling pin sticks to the sticky dough so just use your hands.
- Place candy bar on a diagonal on dough rectangle and fold edges over candy, forming an “envelope.”
- Gently pinch dough together to totally enclose candy bar.
- Place dough packages on a sil pat or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 375, 10-12 minutes until golden. Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkles if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 12
Happy Halloween!
