Gifts from the Kitchen, Peppermint Snowballs

Presents are wrapped and stacked in a pile, ready to be delivered in just a little while~
Jingle bells and Merry Jolly, lots of treats and bright red holly
All are signs that Christmas is near, and if there’s a bunch of candy canes, Christmas is here!
Peppermint Snowballs piled on a plate and a bowl of Sparkly ornaments looking great~
And what says Christmas louder than HO HO HO
A Peppermint Chip Covered Ball made with an OREO!
You might want to gift them in a glitter sprayed jar
Just spray jars with a coat of glossy white, then add some glitter if it strikes your fancy~
I did a stripe around the bottom third of the jar
There are tons of free printables available online, just give it a google, or make your own…or you can tuck a cupcake paper into the lid~
A pretty ribbon makes a cozy scarf for your jar full of holiday treats and sweets!
The cookies are so quick to make, you’ll have plenty of time to whip up these jars!
Have you seen the Andes Peppermint Crunch baking chips? So tasty and convenient!
Melt the white chocolate bark with sweetened condensed milk
You will think this is going to take forever, but don’t walk away, it happens fairly quickly…do some leg lifts or yoga stretches and before you know it, this chocolate milk bath will be ready for the smashed cookies
I know all you can see is icing but those Oreo crumbs are in there!
Stir, stir, stir~
Use a mini scooper or 2 teaspoons to form small balls, and roll in Peppermint chips [or crushed candy canes or peppermints]
Place the balls on a paper lined baking sheet and refrigerate until firm
Mmmmm….white chocolate, cookie crunch and peppermint creaminess make a delightful wintertime treat!
I bet your wondering what those M&Ms are for…well they’re for you to snack on of course!

Hi Jenna – You are my peppermint sister! I wish you lived closer so you can come over to our Candy Canes and Cocktails party this weekend… and while I don’t have time to make these for this year, I’m totally pinning this project to make next year. I am obsessed with anything peppermint!!!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours. Hugs, Holly
Candy Canes and Cocktails is such a cute party theme! I hope you blog about it, I would love to see what you have planned! Thanks Holly!
Jenna, I was here early this morning & I could have SWORN that I left a comment on these yummy looking treats! GREAT photos & a really nice tut on how to make them, too. Thanks!
I once asked Yvonne at StoneGable if she had a “staff” to help her. I ask the same question of you…how do you do it all??? And so beautifully, too!!!
LOVED that turquoise tablescape!!
I wish I had a staff! Actually my husband is a huge help, he loves to clean house and do dishes, he’s sort of a neat freak, so I am lucky! It seems like the busier I am, the more I get done…thanks so much for the sweet comments Rett~
Yummy! As always, I love your poetry. 🙂 Thanks for sharing these awesome treats!
Jenna, You’re way ahead of me! Not only do you have the presents wrapped, you have time to spray paint jars and write poetry 🙂 I adore the sparkly jars for gifting your snowballs, too cute and creative!
Don’t be impressed, those wrapped gifts were for a customer who orders all her gifts from me and I wrap them for her~my gifts are unwrapped in a pile under a quilt in the bedroom!
