I’m gathering bounty for an Easter Bunny Buffet
All bunny favorites, asparagus, artichokes, radishes, brussels sprouts, carrots
I have mentioned before that I am so lucky to have a chef son and “blogging assistant”
HHjr loves to cook and is always giving me ideas…sometimes he lets me photo and share, like these Southern Style Cornish Hens
I also have willing and able junior assistants, Super Boy and his side kick Big E, who are eager tasters and crafters
Now, I am blessed to have my very own Fairy BlogAngel!
I am so lucky, I know!
She waves her magic wand and wonderful things land on my doorstep, like these Pfaltzgraff rabbit topped covered dishes~
Perfect for our Bunny Buffet! Thank you Fairy BlogAngel!!
We won’t be dining on the patio, but I couldn’t resist bringing the bunnies and vegetables out here for a little menu inspiration~
Can you spot Garden Girl off in the distance upper right, guarding our crop of okra, kale and corn?
Here’s what I’m planning for our Easter Menu
It should make the bunnies happy
I’ll keep some things on the plain side for the little bunnies,
but selling it is all in the wording~
“What’s for dinner Gigi?”
“Well, we’re having carrots of course…”
“Oh, Yes, You HAVE to have carrots on Easter Gigi!” Super Boy will exclaim, “and we’ll eat them right up so the bunnies don’t get them!”
“And then we’re having your Daddy’s BBQ and some french fries, doesn’t that sound good?”
“Yes!”
“And then when you’ve eaten that up there are going to be Bird Nest Pies and Cottontail Cocktails for dessert!”
“Bird Nest Pie??? Eeeeewwww!”
“Oh, you’re going to like it, it’s full of chocolate eggs!”
“Okay, I don’t know about that cottontail thing though, I think I’ll just stick with pie…”
It’s all about presentation 😘

Your bunny buffet is just precious! We will not be celebrating this year due to my husband’s various ills, so I’m trying to live vicariously through others and their tablescaping talents.
