Holidays, Mother’s Day Magic with Flowers

If the way to a man’s heart is food, the path to a woman’s is F L O W E R S
Girls of all ages L O V E flowers
FTD provided these splendid blooms so we can create some instant magic for Mom…
A dessert display with favorite treats, store bought or homemade, is sure to make Mom feel special…
Even if you can’t send her to the spa, you can
Pamper her with a private retreat and a tray with blooms, a light snack and her favorite magazine…
A quick vignette with some favorite books and photos will bring a big smile
AND of course set a special table!
If you have beautiful fresh flowers, it’s easy peasy to set a stunning table
This table is set with a mix of everyday colored plates and place mats, and things found around the house to match the bright flowers
Layered placemats
Colorful flatware
Grab some citrus to complement the bright blooms and add even more freshness
No matching napkins?
No problem, look in your linen closet… how about colorful wash cloths
Roll them into “blooms” and add a fresh green leaf
I inserted a straw “curly” just for fun
And for a added touch of celebration, Yay for Moms!
A single bloom graces Mom’s place
The gold dot organza was part of the flower packaging, so I used it too, as part of the centerpiece
It matched the Gold Leaf Glasses
holding the napkin blooms
Add some pillows to keep Mom comfy…
Check out the incredible selection of flowers, vases, and stunning arrangements for Mom at FTD here
This is one of their luxury bouquets, which came in a sturdy box, the stems carefully swaddled and the base wrapped in a wet sponge to keep them fresh. Included with the flowers was a gorgeous glass oval vase, protected in bubble wrap. The packaging was almost as pretty as the flowers!
All you have to do is put water in the vase, unwrap the flowers, and stick them in!
They have done all the work for you!
All set for Mother’s Day!
Flowers were provided by FTD for promotional consideration. Order today to insure delivery on desired date. Sign up for email notifications and receive 20% off your order!
Tip for making flowers last: Water is oxygen to flowers, give them fresh water every few days and snip a little off the stems. You can add a little lemon lime soda to water if you don’t have any flower preservative, flowers love a little sip of soda!

I always think, “oh, don’t spend money on flowers!” but then I see them and think they are absolutely gorgeous! Love your bright and happy table!
Lucky you! Enjoy those flowers, they’re beautiful:@)
Such a pretty table fitting for Moms Jenna! I love the whimsy of the washcloth blooms in the glasses and using the gold dot organza from the packaging in your arrangement was brilliant!
I love your “wash cloth” napkin blooms with the leaf addition. That’s amazing! I can see that being very useful when placed in the glass wet for peeling and eating shrimp. You are so inspiring! 🙂
yes, I often wish I had a wash cloth to go with dinner! >
Jenna, I love flowers! I always tell my family send me flowers now, not when I am gone! Beautiful table with your gorgeous backdrop of water! Happy Monday
What a sweet Mother’s Day tray and table with the flowers, Jenna. I especially loved your colorful washcloth tip…so cute!!
This is beautiful, Jenna. You always inspire.

Beautiful Jenna. love all of the colors. So lively and festive. Thanks for sharing at DI&DI/
This is so pretty and the view is amazing! Never thought of using washcloths what a great idea. Unlike cloth napkins any stains are much easier to come out. 2 thumbs up on that one!!
Terrific ideas to pamper “mom” and the flower bouquet is gorgeous! What a beautiful outdoor scene you have created. The tablescape is gorgeous and the view amazing! Now, that would be an ideal Mother’s Day setting for me!
Beautiful and breathtaking! I am loving all of your ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Aww…how pretty!
Thanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!
Oh what beautiful little vignette’s you have created. Gorgeous photo’s. I loved the way you rolled the cloth to look like flowers. I have to try that sometime and I have never seen that done. How creative. Just lovely!
Thank you Valerie! >
