Gifts from the Kitchen, Gingerbread “Man” Basket

My very favorite gift to give is a basket full of goodies,
it’s fun to shop for the fillers, and it’s a one size fits all!
I needed a birthday gift for a very special guy
I decided to visit my favorite HomeGoods to see what I could come up with…
The first thing that caught my eye was this Tis the Season Gingerbread coffee with a big smiling gingerbread man
Then I saw the Gingerbread Boys, and an idea was born
I found this cute Gingerbread Pancake Mix with a whisk, and picked up some Maple Praline Syrup to go with it
😋
Black, white and red chocolate covered Oreos look like shiny Christmas ornaments
A bag of Uncle Woody’s Butterscotch Popcorn with Bourbon Butter sounded crazy good…
And I found this cute buffalo check box in the gift wrapping aisle, one stop shopping!
At home I lined the box with a new bright red kitchen towel I happened to have in my stash, and a couple of peppermint spoons and chocolate pretzel rods
I set the box into the lid and secured everything with a velvet Santa belt ribbon
and added a coordinating Santa ornament
This type of gift is great for anyone, any age, or for a couple or a family
Happy Gifting!

Who wouldn’t love to receive that box of goodies, Jenna? I think yummy food is always a wonderful gifting idea. I’m giving goodies from Trader Joe’s this year to several families.

What a great gift basket! I bought Spunky Daughter a gingerbread cottage kit at Kroger, and she’s running out of time for putting it together. Guess I’ll save that money next year! Ha! Happy Christmas week!
