Fearless Friday, Lucky Shamrock Pot

Are you feeling lucky this month?

shamrock-pot-sketch

I decided to paint myself a pot of lucky shamrocks to place by my door to lure a pot of gold  💰

starting-sign

This is the backside of my Mardi Gras mask sign, 2 for 1!  Saves on storage space too!

I decided to just coat it lightly so it would look weathered, putting a coat of blue over the still wet green so it would blend slightly

Shamrocks are really just clusters of upside down hearts, see tutorial here

And this pot is ready for the porch to welcome leprechauns!

Wooden signs are my favorite way to decorate the beach house entry, they don’t need watering and can withstand the salt air.  With a little wedging between the pots, they won’t blow over either

Bring on the pot of gold!!

And if you don’t feel like painting, I have done the work for you!

Great idea to use the back side of your Mardi Gras mask! I’m thinking I can use a heart stencil and make shamrocks. You know how untalented I am at free-hand stuff. Well, maybe you don’t, but trust me. It ain’t pretty! Your pot of shamrocks is wonderful. Happy weekend!
