Holidays, Spooky Visit

Aaaarrrrrggghhh…

Ahoy mateys!

I’m here to give you a spoooooky welcome!

I’ve been having some BOOS to celebrate your arrival

Come on in, we’re ready for spooky fall fun

A haunted house, a pumpkin pile, along with other fluff

Makes for a scene of very spooky stuff…

Be brave and visit the snack station, with many a face

It  can be a very scary place  👻

A skeleton bucket is full of treats, but it’s guarded by goblins and other creeps…

Flatware, plates stand ready with just a few motions

Goblet type glasses are ready for potions

Don’t forget to grab a napkin from the mouth of the ghost

But beware of the bottles the witch wants you to try for a toast

Before you go, stop by and pick up a pumpkin from the farm

I promise these pumpkins will do you no harm

Thanks so much for dropping by,

It’s hard to see you with my patch covered eye

My weary old bones had to have a seat, waiting for you to Trick or Treat!

Come back soon by the light of the moon!

Jenna, Your pirate skeleton resting his weary bones on your bench is the perfect Halloween welcome for trick-or-treaters at your beach home…love his festive scarf and parrot skeleton pal! While it’s too early for booze this morning it’s never too early for boos for me. Thanks for the scary fun, I bet your grands get a kick out of him, along with your spooky snacks and chips!

  2. Lynn says:

The hook and peg leg are hilarious Jenna! The kids will flip out-have fun:@)

  3. You are so into fall and I love it! That IS a spooky visit!

  4. Very festive – my fav is the skeleton, having a cocktail!!

  5. Jenna, what fun when your trick-or-treaters arrive at your door with the bone-tired skeleton greeting them! Your grands have a fun, Halloween-loving grandmother… lots of spooky going on on the coast! Happy Sunday~

  6. Sharon Mann says:

You are having so much fun Jenna! I love your Halloween displays, so creative,

  7. “…some BOOS…” That’s funny! Heck, I’ll take it! So you and I strike again on stuff we have bought in common. I have that same Esben beachwood flatware! I regret having only bought a 4 Place settings, but perhaps I’ll add on later. It’s so nice with kind of a retro feel when you want, a rustic feel when you want…it’s got a lot of lives like a cat! Terrific Halloween decor!!!

    • Not at the beach, I just did it for my grands that were here this weekend and they loved it! The other two are coming next weekend and then he’ll probably go back in the box until next year 🙂

This is the cutest post! I love your Halloween decorations. So funny. I wonder if your pirate will share that scarf with you. It hangs conveniently beside the door so you can snag it on your way out. Such a fun post. I know I’m early, but Happy Halloween! 🙂
