Tablescapes, Flip Flops, Firecrackers & Flags

Welcome to the Red White & Blue Tablescape hop!

Chloe from Celebrate & Decorate has gathered a creative group of tablescapers to provide inspirations for summer entertaining!

I splurged a little with some new things for our summer dining at the beach

Flags are waving everywhere!

Melamine shell dinner plates are perfect for al fresco dining

The smaller flip flop plates will be a hit with the children and

they also are a good size for dessert or bread

Nautical stemless and stemmed flag glasses are set at each place

The firecracker chargers on both ends of the table hold corn holders if you care to use them

And decorative pieces just for fun

Grocery store carnations & daises in a rope handled jar

Set in a paper red white and blue flag wreath

Very simple, very inexpensive, and a perfect summer centerpiece

We live on this porch all year long, it’s warm in the winter and stays cool from sea breezes in the summer

Loose blue tiles serve as decorative coasters, they’re also handy to secure things on really windy days!

I “borrowed” the bicycle napkin rings from my Red White & Beach Tree, topped with Lady Liberty

We are ready to celebrate!   🎉

So festive and a perfectly patriotic table for your coastal living Jenna! Your wreath looks great as a centerpiece around your vase of flowers. Your new melamine plates are so pretty and you already know I love those bicycle napkin rings! I bet your grands will love dining on a flip flop plate. 😉 I hope your 4th of July celebration is full of flying flags, fireworks and wonderful family memories too. It’s always a pleasure to blog hop with you. ♥

Jenna, this fun and festive red, white, and blue table is so perfect on your porch! I must say I am a little envious of your coastal living. I can almost feel the sea breezes and I really need a beach trip soon! The centerpiece says this is a fun celebration. The new melamine plates and cute napkin rings with the flip flop plates are just perfect for a family gathering with your grands! Wishing you a beautiful 4th of July celebration! It is always a pleasure to blog hop with my Alabama blogging friend!

  3. I love your new table and chairs! You have gone all out for the holiday. I can hear the squeals of the children when they see the flip flop plates. Now, I’ve seem everything!
Your centerpiece is very attractive and choosing the rope handled container nestled in the patriotic wreath was ingenious! Your handpainted glasses are the perfect touch! Bicycle napkin rings are so cute!🇺🇸 ❤️🇺🇸

    • Thank you Bonnie, I can’t tell you how much we’ve enjoyed the new table and chairs, we’ve already had some fun impromptu dinner parties plus the kids can use it for drawing and painting too.

  4. I might have those same chairs and if yours ARE the same as mine, they are so comfy for folders! I need to get some new ones for the cottage!

The table looks wonderful — pretty, festive, very seasonal and not so cluttered that you can’t see every wonderful detail! Love it!

    • Thanks Jeanie, yes the chairs are so comfy but they don’t fold. We chose them because not only are they maintenance free, they are quite heavy so they don’t blow around.

Will review the tutorial on the firecracker chargers also. Really like the rockets in the corner, but no listing for those. Can you share? Thanks Jenna, Happy 4th of July! ♥️🇺🇸

    • hi Cyndi, I didn’t source the rockets because I’ve had them for a long time, I found them at Hobby Lobby, so check there, they probably have something very similar. Thanks!

Yes! Yes and yes to your beautiful nautical red white and blue table. I love the circle of paper flowers around your centerpiece. And the flag waving by your neighbors (and you) make me want to stand up and put my hand over my heart. Beautiful and now all I need is an invitation to sit by the water and enjoy your tablescape. Good job!

There are so many fun elements on your table! I love those adorable corn holders – perfect for a red, white and blue celebration. I also love your tile idea as coasters – I’m going to try that one myself! I can definitely see how useful that would be to keep napkins from blowing away! Lady Liberty, of course, is adorable, and the view – I would think any holiday celebrated looking at that would be just perfect!
