Home Decor, Pumpkin Love

Have you started fall decorating or gathering pumpkins?
I am just getting started, and currently have a pumpkin tower or 2 on the mantel
I crushing on sunflowers this year too, and have single stems in vases all over the house, it makes everything feel so happy!
Here is some sunflower and pumpkin eye candy from the past…
My motto is that one can never have too many pumpkins! Or sunflowers!
Psst…pillows are on sale today in my Society 6 shop! 30% off!! Rugs too...
I haven’t bought any mums yet, it’s still in the 90s here! 😅

Lovely roundup, Jenna!
thanks Carole, I hope you had minimal damage?
I love the small galvanized tub with the pumpkins and so many other wonderful arrangements here. I’m in a pickle — We leave early enough that if I get pumpkins before, they’ll be mush by the time we return, yet it will be so close to Halloween… oh well. I use them (and squash) through TG so not so bad — just worse availability. Bring on the faux!
Yes, around here you’ve got to buy pumpkins early because they will disappear…and yes, you can always go faux this year!
sunflower and pumpkin eye candy indeeeeeed!
thanks Jodi!
Love the pumpkin and sunflower eye candy! I’ve just picked up a couple of pumpkins from the grocery store but anxious to head out to the farmers’ market! Happy Wednesday Jenna ♥
I’m dying to decorate my front entry, but I’ve got to wait until things cool down a little…the local market keeps tempting me every time I drive by!
The color and textures of fall bring out the creativity!
I love playing with pumpkins 🙂
Your mantle looks so pretty Jenna and I need your inspiration to get busy with the pumpkins. It’s always hard for me until the cool temps move in. Love your pumpkin past, so many lovely centerpieces and tables. I love the tub filled to the brim, gorgeous!
I have to really restrain myself from buying too many, but since they’re so heavy, that deters me! I agree, it’s too hot to get in the fall decorating mood!
Jenna, I love your pumpkin and sunflower round-up! Your mantel looks so fall festive with the pumpkins stacks. Tomorrow is my day to go shopping for pumpkins and mums, I am very late this year. Have a wonderful day🍁🧡🍁
What a great pumpkin patch you have, past and present, Jenna! I broke down and bought two mum plants today – still near 90 here too, but supposed to drop Sat. We shall see. I’ve only bought a small trio of white baby boos, but still no bigger ones yet. I do have a patch of fabric ones, though, so they’re keeping me satisfied for now. I like all the looks you’ve created and those sunflowers (esp on those Society 6 cards with checks – love!).
Thanks Rita, I almost almost bought mums today but they were going to have to sit in my car for 2 hours so I didn’t…98 degrees yesterday, awful!
Other than pulling out a few of my decorations for background items (and then putting them back away), I haven’t started Fall decorating. I like enjoying the summer and pool as long as I can. Since Fall doesn’t officially start until tomorrow, I’ve made myself keep from putting out my pumpkins and burlap. But, they may come out this weekend! I have to say that there’s a pumpkin (or two maybe) in several of your pictures that really catches my eye. It’s some kind of shaggy, wrapped fabric in a linen color. Did you make those or find them somewhere? They’re fab!
It’s probably one I made Hope, you can see the tutorial here https://thepaintedapron.com/2013/10/02/creations-playing-with-pumpkins/ Have fun pulling out your pumpkins!
Beautiful mix of pumpkins. I love when you mixed real with faux. Talk about texture and eye candy! Can’t believe you’re still getting 90 degrees, yuck. The temps have dropped here down to 78 day time and 55 at night. I’m loving it!
Thanks Christine, I love fall decorating! your temps sound divine!
There are some beautiful pumpkin ideas. I particularly love your tablescape with the mixture of white pumpkins with sunflowers along your table runner. I also love your painted whimsical pumpkins. So darling for a front porch. Hard to make a choice as to which is my favorite.
Thank you Marsha, I go a little pumpkin crazy in the fall…
Thanks for sharing all of the wonderful pumpkin inspiration at TFT! Featuring you today!
