Party Panache, Easy Football Feast

Saturday football is something we look forward to all year long
Last Saturday we decided to see if we could beat the heat
with a patio tent and fans
Even though the thermometer hit 96, the tent, an umbrella
Afternoon shade and fans kept us cool!
Ole Miss was a definite threat to Bama in the 1st quarter,
The guys were glued…
The food was inside on the kitchen island, only steps away,
when anybody wanted to grab a bite
With the summer like heat,
I opted to serve foods that could safely sit out all afternoon,
Italian meats, grapes, nuts, crackers
Pumpkin cakes, toffee pretzels, peanut butter pretzels
I picked up most of these goodies at Trader Joe’s
Cheese sticks, crackers, a cheese board
My challenge was to incorporate a fall theme with Alabama and Ole Miss serving pieces
There was a little bit of everything going on!
The Team Pride Snack Helmet was full of corn chips and salsa
The colored chips are shaped like leaves, so cute!
{also Trader Joe’s}
One friend brought delicious ribs and another friend brought pigs in a blanket
HHjr had the grills going with beef brisket, and smoked chicken wings
It was quite a manly feast!
When I took these photos, the meat was still on the grill, and would be added later
Basically, my part was easy,
shopping and decorating,
no time spent cooking!
It was great to be able to be outside
watching with friends for the afternoon game!
We are hoping to be able to get the fireplace and pizza oven going for a game day soon!
Juicy Details
Having the party outside was a last minute decision so I shopped and paid online, finding the tent and fan at local stores…all you have to do is swing by and pick them up…so easy!!

Entertaining doesn’t have to be hard
Keep it easy and fun with simple food and concentrate on friends!

[…] Football Feast Tray turned into a Fall Football Feast Buffet, too much to fit on just one […]
Love your spread and the manly ‘meat-fest’ for game day Jenna! Yes, Mother Nature, please bring on the cool fall weather so we can crank up the oven and sit by the fire!!
Surely it will cool down soon, thanks Mary!
Jenna, I can just imagine all the fun watching Alabama football every Saturday with family and friends, quite a manly group. You were smart to rent the tent, maybe by Sunday we will get relief!
I got the tent at Dick’s for $50! I know we are going to get tons of use out of it!
WOW Jenna! What an awesome football party with a feast I must say indeed. YUMMY Loving all the special touches there you’ve got going on. You are the party queen girl. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
thanks Cindy, it was such an easy party, and we had a ton of fun!
Good job combining the opposing teams! I bet you have one heck of a party!
thanks Jeanie! We always have fun!
What a fabulous spread! And what fun! We love outdoor parties! Hopefully next week it will be cooler for you!
thanks Nancy it is supposed to be cooler next week!
Looks like fun! You decorating always looks so inviting, Jenna! ❤️
Thank you Jill!
What a handsome gathering of males watching that TV–I can just feel the testosterone. You did a great job with the snacks for hot weather, and I must go soon to Trader Joe’s (or order) for some of those “leaves.” Total Touchdown with this party, Jenna!
thank you Sheila! Yes, TJ’s is full of fall goodies!
The leaf shaped chips and pumpkin cakes are so cute!! Serving hot weather snacks was a great idea for such a hot day.
Thanks Michelle, it was great not to have to worry about keeping anything warm or cold, made for a very easy party!
Looks like fun, I love your cheeseboard:@)
It’s great fun to use, thanks Lynn!
All that food sounds so delish! The tent and fan were good ideas to help against that heat. Hopefully, it will start cooling down soon for you. We are having cooler temps with drizzly rain…yes, fall is here in the north for sure. 🍊🍂
We could sure use some drizzly rain, we’re in drought mode here! Thanks Cyndi, we had a lot of fun 🙂
It looks like a great set up for football watching, Jenna! All your food set up looked wonderful!! I know the guys enjoyed their manly feast.
Yes, give a man a platter full of meat off the grill and he’s happy!! Thanks Kitty!
This is a great Football Feast that we would enjoy, maybe it would make it better, our team is not doing so well today. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome talent with us at Full Plate Thursday. Hope you are having a great weekend and come back to see us real soon!
Miz Helen
I felt guilty that I personally didn’t cook anything, but it sure was easy 🙂
Thank you for sharing at #ThursdayFavoriteThings. Pinned and shared. Have a lovely week. I hope to see you at next week’s party too!
