Welcome to the Celebrate & Decorate annual Thanksgiving tablescape hop!
A week of creative Thanksgiving tables to enjoy and inspire!

I am especially thankful for my friend Sally~
or as I sometimes call her, CCOG, CC’s Other Grandmother…
Her son, NG just happens to be married to my daughter DD
We share them on Thanksgiving, they go to her house for lunch
and then jump in the car and drive to the beach house for dinner
When I popped in for a visit recently she was getting out her Thanksgiving things
and thinking about how she would set her tables…
💡
hmmm…. “um, Sally?
I’m doing a tablescape hop soon and since we’re going to the beach,
Do you think I could come over and borrow your table for photos?
I can bring some of my things, we could play and set up a Thanksgiving tablescape?”
“Sure!” she said
It was raining buckets that day, so some of the photos look weird,
And just when I finished taking photos the power went off!
Come on into Sally’s beautiful home and see what we created
She had already styled a great centerpiece
A large glass bowl full of natural elements, orbs and leaves
All I did was flank it with a pair of tall pilgrims and a variety of real and faux pumpkins
Her beautiful runner with abstract leaves and flowers of soft Autumn colors
provided a perfect base for the center of the table
We combined her chocolate chargers with my gold and burnt orange ones,
setting this table for 6 with 2 of each color
The Happy Thanks Giving plates on the top of the stack are paper!
She bought them to use for dessert
Aren’t they cute??
The plate stack was composed of her plates,
a white square dinner plate set on an angle
topped with a pale gray ceramic dinner plate
and the happy thanks Giving paper plate for dessert
We placed an individual pumpkin on top of the plate stack
With an Autumn leaf place card
Sally’s beautiful heirloom silverware completed the place settings
If you look closely
you’ll see her turkey salt and pepper shakers
and mini pilgrims that are part of her Thanksgiving tradition
All of our things went together so beautifully,
just like DD and NG 🥰
She had some wonderful turkey napkin rings
I folded the tips of her cream linen napkins around the back of the rings
then fluffed them to make them splay out like turkey feathers
And you can’t have a Thanksgiving table without an ear or two of Indian corn and a dish of acorns
At her request I painted these turkey glasses several years ago
Oh goodness, we had so much fun sharing and creating!
I am “Berry Thankful” for our friendship!

Jenna, What fun that you could play with Sally’s dishes and collaborate on this Thanksgiving table with her! So many fun layers and textures form the plate stack, pumpkins, runner, pilgrims and ‘Berry Thankful’ dish. I’ve often thought how fun it would be if I lived closer to another dishaholic and we could share linens and tableware. I know you’re thankful that you’re friends with Sally…it makes the holidays (and life) so much better when family members are in-laws instead of outlaws. 😉 As always I’m happy to hop with you this week, Happy Wednesday ♥

Jenna, oh how much fun that you and Sally had creating this gorgeous Thanksgiving Table. I never would have guessed that those were paper plates on top of the stack. Her lovely runner made a great foundation for the centerpiece of real and faux pumpkins with the pair of pilgrims. I love the autumn leaf place card and that you two created this stunning tablescape together. It would be so much fun to tablescape with you sometimes, a sixty mile drive would be no problem for me! It is always a pleasure to sit at one of your beautifully layered and detailed tables ❤️

Now how fun was that?! Jenna, that’s a great collaboration and resulting table. really like you just added to what each other had, and that’s exactly how my Panoply sister & I style our booths. Love the plate stacks (paper!), and how you paired the different chargers on the table. Cute glasses you painted. I actually have another sister who has my same tendencies with hoarding dishes, so I could easily see myself doing something like this too. Really fun!

That looks fabulous! I want that Berry Thankful cranberry sauce dish! So pretty, and clever to use colorful and seasonal paper plates for that extra punch without having to store more dishes. Lovely centerpiece too. Everything, from the hand painted glasses to the extra touches of pumpkins looks so festive and special. Applause, applause to both of you!

The table you set together looks fabulous. I love all the textured pumpkins 🎃 and the Indian corn🌽. The leaf 🍁 placecards are adorable tied onto the pumpkins. Jenna, I agree everything is better when it is shared and I love to hear of your friendship and, dishware addiction, is shared. I love all of the special details of the tablescape. The pilgrims, the painted stemware, pumpkins, acorns and turkeys. So nicely coordinated and the paper plates are a perfect touch and works so well with the grey dinnerware. What a blessing, to have a friend that is your daughter’s mother -in-law! That is really awesome! You both did such a great job at fixing this lovely table! I’m ready to sitdown and eat now! Lol. Love the colorful chargers and those vintage little pilgrims and turkeys are darling! Love their little faces. Are they candles? I have some just like them, that were my moms, but they are choir boys and girls for Christmas in red and white choir robes. I place them in a semi-circle around a small ceramic tree and they are so cute! I pretend they are singing “Oh, Christmas Tree”.
Oh that sounds so cute! Sally’s pilgrims aren’t candles, just little statues, I wish I had taken a close up of them…anyway, we had so much fun and it is definitely a blessing that we are good friends! Setting the table was especially fun since I knew my daughter and her family would be sitting there, she has no idea I did it!
Oh Jenna, how I envy and applaud you joining forces to create a wonderful Thanksgiving table and centerpiece. So many special details! Always love and enjoy seeing your lovingly hand painted stemware. Paper plates — who would have ever guessed — fooled me! And, two of the faux pumpkins in particular in the centerpiece were unlike anything I’ve ever seen — love the textures.

How much fun Jenna! You and Sally made a dynamic tablescaping duo! There are so many beautiful and festive elements on the table. I love the orbs and pilgrims especially! The turkey feathers napkin fold is wonderful too. Even with the rain and the electric going out, you managed to pull off another delightful and creative tablescape.

This tag-team venture resulted in a beautiful table. It is quintessential fall and I would have to leave this one up for a long time. In addition to the well-styled table it’s awesome that you have that kind of relationship with the ‘in-laws”.
