Recipe Box, Easy Slo Cook Cranberry Sauce and Recipes using Cranberries

When I saw this Slow Cooker Cranberry Sauce over at Lynn’s
I couldn’t wait to try it
I had all the ingredients on hand
Into the crock pot they went
Along with a few tired clementines
This is how it looked after 1 hour
and after 3 hours
After stirring at 3 hours, leave the crock pot lid off and let it cook for another 30 minutes
It will significantly reduce down to a lovely thick sauce
All done!
This batch won’t make it to Thanksgiving…
I have plans to use it in a fabulous recipe coming up soon!

In the meantime,
here are some favorite holiday recipes using cranberries
Last year I made a similar cranberry sauce,

It was fantastic paired with bacon wrapped Brussels sprouts for a festive appetizer

It is also wonderful on a flatbread
like this Holiday Cranberry Flatbread made with Thanksgiving leftovers
Cranberry Walnut Spirals with Gorgonzola Butter sound fancy
but they’re actually easy to make
These will definitely get gobbled!

Jenna, the cranberry sauce looks delicious. I love cranberries in almost anything. This is an easy recipe that would be perfect for the turkey sandwich the day after Thanksgiving! Happy Thursday!
If you do make this, during the last hour check it after 30 minutes with the lid off, and turn it off when you like the thickness, it might not need an entire hour at the end
I know I’m one of the weird ones, but I adore cranberry sauce. This looks yum!

I came to love cranberries rather late in life. Now I am happy to eat them any time of the year. Thanks for the recipes.
Enjoy!
I’m glad you tried it! I’ve made it twice now, even froze half of the last batch to send home with Ma. Happy Holiday Planning Jenna:@)
Did you think the sauce better slow cooked? I’m drawn to the flatbread with cranberries.
I love cranberries and I enjoy making all kinds of things with cranberries! Delish!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Lynn is always cooking up something good, and so are you, Jenna! I like the idea of using the slow cooker for this. Your painted cranberries are beautiful, too.
Thank you Kitty, Lynn always has good and easy recipes!
I love cranberries! Making this recipe in the crockpot looks easy and I bet it made your house smell good too! ❤️ Unfortunately, I’m the only one who likes cranberries in my house… I like how you used the leftovers in other recipes too. I may give that a try! 😍
This recipe makes such a small batch you could make it just for yourself or perhaps one of the apps would change peoples minds about cranberries!
I saw Lynn’s recipe and wanted to try it too Jenna! Looks delish and so easy!
Thank you for sharing at #ThursdayFavoriteThings. Pinned and shared. Have a lovely week. I hope to see you at next week’s party too!
What pretty ideas! I can taste the cranberry spirals!
