Tablescapes, Beach Bunny Carrot Brunch

Two weeks ago, after much debate about the current situation,

my son, his boys, and I packed up our cars and headed to the beach house

Originally they planned to stay a week,

but as things escalated and kept changing, 1 week turned into 2…

Yesterday, our governor issued Stay at Home orders for the whole state of Alabama…

and 2 weeks became 3

The boys Facetime with their mom several times a day, and she even reads to Big E

As much as she misses them,

she knows they are safer here and there is so much for them to do…

I really thought I would be spending Easter alone this year,

so I’m very excited that the boys will be staying at least another week

I celebrated by setting an Easter Bunny brunch table for us

The boys went boating while I played with carrots

We spend Easter at the beach just about every year

and their Easter baskets just happen to be here

We will have an Easter egg hunt,  I hope we can get eggs and candy

but if not we’ll hide Easter egg ornaments, which will be fine and dandy

Fabric carrots and white wood bunny napkin rings are on seashell plates

A couple of surfer bunnies and a wreath of carrots are easy ways to decorate

Orange and green handled flatware mix with silver forks for each place

A cabbage pitcher full of carrots is the centerpiece vase

I’m so excited to be able to spend Easter with at least part of our family this year

Oh how I wish DD and her family could be here!

I hope you are staying safe, happy & healthy!

At least we can still visit and shop online right now

AND

There is a Spring Refresh Sale going on this week at Society 6!

  1. Glad you had some family to ride this out.
    Love your tables setting. <3

  2. Your table is just darling! I love the cheeriness of it, the colors of the napkins and the cute carrots — they’re terrific. I’m especially happy you will not be alone on Easter. I feel for those who will be, especially for the first time. I can’t wait to hear of your Easter egg hunt (or ornament hunt, as the case may be!) That’s a really great idea!

  3. Jenna, your table is adorable and perfect for an Easter brunch at the beach. The surfer bunnies are so cute and your centerpiece of carrots in the cabbage pitcher is festive and fun. I am glad that you won’t be spending Easter alone, but with at least part of your family. Happy Sunday!

I’m so happy your boys get to stay. It’s definitely the safest place, since they’ve had the limited contact already with just you and their Dad. What a great table setting to celebrate – happy, bright, and celebratory. Have a great week, Jenna & Co.

  6. How special to be all together with your son and his boys. I am sure it is so safe to be there. Like you said, there is plenty to do. Your Easter brunch table is darling and tropical. The carrots are stealing the show. You ways make everything so special.

  7. Enjoy your family!

  8. It is great to use what you already have in a new way. So fabulous that the boys can be with you. I’m sure they love being on the lake, and it is easy to keep a social distance there too. Stay well!!

Hi sister, So glad you are at the beach with your boys! Love these pictures. All is well with us. We seem to keep busy around the house and with yard work. We did a ” zoom” call last night with Steph’s and Chris’s families. So fun to see all the kids. Caroline’s graduation was postponed as was the prom. Hopefully it will happen in June and we can go. You take care of yourself and let’s pray this is over soon. Love to everyone 🙏😘

You have the perfect place to shelter in place! Seeing your pictures makes me so happy. I love your brunch table, and I love that it’s outside by the water! We have stayed at the Phoenix X several times (I may have already told you that…), and your photos look like it could be close by. I spent some time at your shop today –such beautiful things you have there!

    • Oh thank you Pam! I really appreciate the kind words and love that you are an Orange Beach lover! Our home is on the west end of Ono Island so it is close to Phoenix X. Art and the beach are keeping me sane these, I hope you are busy being creative and staying well…
