Tablescapes, Summer Roses

.

Even though I have done a little Fall Decorating

I’m not quite done with Summer yet!

.

.

The other day my son came home with beautiful bright roses

from the grocery store marked 2 for $10!

.

.

“Thank you!”

“It was my idea” smiled Super Boy

.

.

Of course the roses demanded a tablescape…

.

.

This explosion of bright colors is a grand finale of Summer!

.

.

Aqua plates match the blue in the MacKenzie-Childs vase

and are topped with happy yellow salad plates,

a hot pink dotted napkin in a beaded dragonfly ring

.

.

Decorated bottle vases hold a rose at each place

With handpainted Happy Dots Glassware

The silver dish is another handpainted makeover

.

Now is the time to celebrate Summer

before it slowly fades into Fall…

.

.

Are there any signs of Fall in the air where you live?

.

.

Thank you for your visit,

I hope I’ve brightened your day!

So beautiful! Love the touch with the dragonfly napkin ring!

Love the late summer bold colors, Jenna. The dot glassware looks great with the roses and other chosen elements for the table design, Yes, definitely seeing some signs of fall approaching……later sunrises, lower, more southerly sun, cooler morning temps (and evenings this week!), acorns, and leaves beginning to turn and fall to the ground……

  3. Jenna, the MC vase is fabulous, I don’t remember you using it before. How nice to receive the roses from your guys, and so thoughtful. I love all the summer colors, it is a happy table! The lower humidity has been a plus this week. Autumn is my favorite season!

Wow, you have a beautiful table setting for celebrating the end of summer. How sweet of superboy and his dad to bring you roses, so sweet! Love how you use the MC vase with your bottles to hold the roses and that burst of color! I always enjoy seeing you use your hand painted items. A big difference in humidity this week, I hope it stays this way for a while but we both know it’s only a tease! Have a great day……..

    • Thank you Emily, the guys are so sweet, they often bring me flowers because they know how much I love them. I haven’t been outside much, our patio is mosquito infested, ugh, but I did go to Publix yesterday, my first visit in 5 months! It was a treat to pick out my own groceries 😂 I might venture out to TJs tomorrow…

Jenna, what a thoughtful gift from your boys. The pink and yellow roses are so striking together in that beautiful MC vase. Your table is so bright and happy and the perfect setting for these final summer weeks. I’m so excited for fall to arrive. This morning it is 62 here and has me dreaming of fall. It is only going to be 85 today which is very unusual for this time of year. Maybe an early autumn is around the corner. Happy Wednesday!

Loving those beautiful roses Jenna. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  7. I’m loving your summer table — for me, bright colors rock any day of the year! (Especially when winter white envelops us!)

  8. Oh, Jenna, how cheerful! If anyone is sad, they should visit this post. And I really regret not buying any parchment check because that vase is stunning, especially with the bright roses!!! This might be my favorite tablescape featuring parchment check.

  9. Mary says:

Your roses definitely deserved a colorful and cheery table to celebrate them Jenna! So thoughtful of your son and Super Boy. 🙂 The humidity has been lower this week which made me think that fall might be around the corner, keeping fingers crossed!
