Holidays, Adventures with Skellie!

“hey Gigi, can we get out the skeleton? asked Big E

“Sure!” I said, “Where do you want to put him?”

“Well…. I dunno…what do you think Gigi?”

“It’s supposed to rain alot this week,

so probably inside somewhere is best”

“I know!!!” he exclaimed

“Let’s put him in the bathtub!” he said

“Do you want bubbles?” I asked

“Yes, bubbles!!”

“Let’s give him some Spooky pillows for his bony body” I suggested

“Let’s add a pumpkin and hey,

this crow would look great on the soap dish”

I said, handing him the decorations

“I’m going to bend his knees so they show” he said

“Great idea!”

We added a few more Halloween touches and considered it done!

“Hey Dad!! Come see what Gigi and I did to the bathroom!!”

Juicy Details

One of our Christmas traditions is to put Frosty in the bathtub

of the guest powder room on the main level

When I first did this, the children were very young

and they would get quite wide eyed and tickled

Even though they aren’t surprised anymore,

they always look for him to see what he’s up to!

Frosty’s Bubblebath

Every year I try to do something a little different with him,

Frosty’s taken a shower, and Frosty’s gone fishing

Frosty’s had a Day at the Spa

And Frosty’s had a Meltdown!

So now it looks like we have a new Halloween tradition,

Adventures with Skellie!
