Tablescapes, Tulip Garden

Welcome to the annual Easter Tablescape Hop

hosted by Chloe from Celebrate & Decorate

I got a little carried away,

and bought an arm load of tulips the other day

Their bright happy colors just seemed to insist

I chose several different colors, I just couldn’t resist!

Pinks and bright orange just pop against white and green

The warm welcoming colors make such an inviting scene!

I styled the tulips with carrots and a moss garden gate

The place settings each feature a cute bunny plate

A watering can napkin ring adds garden bling

If you look closely

you’ll see carrots are everywhere

Even the centerpiece features a carrot held by a ceramic white hare

He sits atop a lettuce lined nest

Clutching a carrot close to his chest

The vases sit on the floral runner with a space in between

so we can easily converse and be seen

A side table holds a sweet Easter chick

and a small Easter basket made of moss covered sticks

I wanted to capture the feel of a garden in bloom

The tulips took over and filled up the room!

It’s hard to believe that Easter will be here soon!

Juicy Details

all the elements on the table I’ve had for a while, the only things I purchased were the flowers

I hope you’ll take a moment to enjoy all the beautiful tables

Lovely tabletop, how about I bring my carrot soup over for dinner?

  2. So springy and beautiful! I love the cozy warm colour set..kinda soothing and relaxing. Today I saw some really beautiful lilac tulips in the stores…now I regret that I didn’t buy them.

  3. Lynn says:

I love the beautiful bright colors for your table!! The addition of the carrots 🥕 is soo cute!

  4. Mary says:

I love the cheery pops of orange and green at your table Jenna! It all screams ‘spring’ with the addition of your tulips, watering can napkin rings, carrots and bunny plates. I was struck by how it even coordinates with your floral screen in your dining room! Happy Tuesday, it’s always fun hopping with you ♥

  5. Bonnie Morgan says:

Jenna, how beautiful your tulips are! I love the colors and it is so charming how you added a real carrot to the vases surrounded by bunnies. The topper is perfect!
I always am enchanted by your rhymes and marvel at your ability to compose them.
I know your grandchildren squeal with delight to see your tables.
Great to share another blog hop with you. I enjoyed visiting your Easter table full of creativity.

    • Thanks so much Bonnie, I have been going a little overboard with flowers lately, I’m just so happy it’s Spring and things are improving with the vaccines and opening up, I feel like everyday is a reason to celebrate!

  6. Rita C. says:

Jenna, you most definitely captured a garden in bloom, so cleverly and colorfully done! I love the hues of pinks together with the orange and green color combo, so preppy! It reminds me of Lilly Pulitzer prints. And those ruffled placemats. If I recall, you found them at Pier 1, every tablescaper’s mournful loss. What a gorgeous display all those tulips make down the runner on the table! I still like the tulips when they start wilting every which way, too, so those should look very wild in a few days. Your artistic flair in words and design always appeal to me, Jenna. Well done! HapPy SPring!

    • Thank you Rita! I love the way tulips have their own personalities, and it’s such fun to see how they move and change everyday. They are looking pretty crazy today…one bunch was labeled “peony tulips” which I’ve never had before and they have opened up and now look like poppies with a startled expression of their faces 😂 Yes, you are amazing to remember the placemats from Pier 1, oh how I loved that store!

  7. Jenna, your table is a blooming tulip garden which speaks beautifully of the Easter season. I could not find a single tulip last week for my table. You are so fortunate to have Trader Joe’s nearby. Your rhyming commentary always amazes me, how many talents can one person possess? The watering can napkin rings are too cute as well as the bunny plates. I love your table and hopping with you is a pleasure! It looks like a ton of rain ☔️☔️☔️

    • Thanks so much Pam, I could not believe how many people were buying flowers at TJs and I went early. I don’t know what it is about the rhymes they just seem to happen, so silly! I am praying the weather won’t be too bad tomorrow, keep safe…

  8. Martha says:

So beautiful Jenna, I love everything about it!

  9. Wow, beautiful!! Love the vibrancy of the colors!

  10. So beautiful Jenna! Tulips make people happy. You can’t look at a vase full of these beauties and not have your heart feel a little lighter.

  11. I really love this table, possibly one of my favorites of yours. Pink and orange have always been a favorite combo and then set off nicely with the moss green of the placemats. Love your table runner. The bunnies and blooms are the perfect touch!

  12. Jenna I am loving your table. It looks beautiful. Your table runner is perfect. Love it!

  13. Kari says:

Jenna your table is striking! I LOVE the carrots and yes, I did spy the carrot in your vase of beautiful tulips! Your poetry is always a pleasure to read. AND your colors blend so well with your dining room. The garden gate reminded me of a more ‘cathedral’ look covered with moss which is appropriate for the Easter season. Always fun to see what you have in mind for the rest of us.
    Blessings dear friend
Kari @ Me and My Captain

    • Thanks so much Kari, I love to decorate with carrots for Spring, and you’re right the gate does have a cathedral look, I have used it for St. Patrick’s Day in the past…loved all your sweet bunnies!

Your have picked the perfect color combination for your Easter table…pink and orange. I love it! It is so happy and fresh for spring. Everything looks just beautiful. 17. Jenna, your table looks like spring to me. So happy and pleasing to the eye. I love the pink and orange together and it does pop against the green. A garden on your table top. The tulips are gorgeous and make me smile. I can see why you bought so many. The carrot are a wonderful addition and a nod to spring. The watering can napkin rings are perfect for your garden themed table. Love the ruffled placemats. I adore the bunny plates. You outdid yourself, your table is lovely. Always a pleasure to hop along with you. Happy Spring.

  18. mhhwarmcozy says:

Jenna, you did capture a garden in bloom. Even the ruffle place mats under the dinner plates gives the feeling of a flower unfolding. I like the pink and orange mix, it’s a retrograde look from the 60s, and adding in the bold flower table runner pulls it together.
I also like the touch of real and faux carrots. The ones on the bunny plates are really cute.

  19. Very pretty! I love your pink frosted glasses Jenna-enjoy:@)

  20. Nancy says:

Jenna, Your Easter table is delightful! This is delightful and such a pleasure among all of the pastels we have seen in this hop! I have used carrots for Easter myself in the past, but your table is so perfect! The vases with the tulips and the carrots is fantastic! The table runner picks up and complements the colors so perfectly and I didn’t miss those cute little watering can napkin rings! Thanks for joining in all of the hops over the years, I hope you have a blessed Easter!

What a celebration for Spring! Perfect! I never would have thought of putting pink and orange tulips together, but what a bright, fun splash of color! Wow! I love the addition of carrots everywhere, especially in the vases and I really like your green moss cathedral window! Awesome. Your table is lovely and I love the watering can napkin rings, too. 5 stars Jenna! Today I am putting some daffodils bulbs in vases with stones in the bottom and a bit of water to see if I can force them to bloom inside. Ran out of time last fall and didn’t get them in the ground before the ground was frozen. Hope it works. Your tulips are over-the-top beautiful! ⚘🥀🌼🐇🐥🐑 yes, Happy spring, Happy Easter! 🛐

    • Thanks so much Cyndi! I did love putting this table together! Good luck on your daffodils, you must have mad gardening skills…I have to garden at Trader Joe’s 🙂

OK girl you pulled out all the stops on this one! The pops of color make a huge visual impact and I am so happy you got carried away with the tulips, the more the merrier. AND, then you added carrots to the vases. I was also drawn to the room screen in the background, it’s so pretty. Then there’s the table runner. Mic dropped!!!!

  27. Marsha says:

Jenna, your table is absolutely captivating! First, I love the bright and bold floral runner. It is perfect for all of the beautiful tulips and carrots. And a wonderful contrast to all of the lime or bright green, especially with the green room screen. I love the wavy round placemats and all the cute bunnies. The watering can napkin rings do add to the lovely bunnies in the garden theme. I love carrots so I am in the right spot too. So bright, cheerful and stunning. Have a wonderful Easter.
