Tablescapes, Fabric Pumpkins & Festive Fall!

Everyone seems to be making pumpkins right now

My buddy Lynn @happierthanapiginmud showed me how

I used ribbon instead of twine

and I think they turned out just fine!

Of course, a tablescape wasn’t far behind…

A bouquet of unusual stems and Bird of Paradise
caught my eye at Trader Joe’s

I added thistles and big bright sunflowers,
anything goes!

Black Rae Dunn dinner plates and pumpkin soup tureens

A bright sunny tablescape and a festive fall scene!

The table looks so pretty when it catches the sunlight

I just had to add little white lights to light it up at night

Tropical storm Nicholas is bringing rain this week

But these bright happy flowers will keep it sunny so to speak!

I have made fabric pumpkins before using this very same technique
Most of these were for the beach house

Wine corks make great stems!
You can see my tutorial here

Such a lovely fall setting and how it brightens up these rainy days. these pumpkins are gorgeous and such a fun craft. What a great way to celebrate fall……….
Thank you Emily, what a rainy year we’ve had! Sunflowers definitely help!
Loving all of your lovely and fun pumpkins. I hope that you have a great weekend. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thank you Cindy, you can’t have too many pumpkins!
You make everything look so special!
Thank you so much Dorothy!
These are fun and happy, Jenna. And the ribbon is really a nice touch here. It’s softer and very pretty. Lovely indeed!
Thank you Jeanie, fun craft!
Jenna, your fabric pumpkins with ribbon turned out beautifully! I love them! Your tablescape is so pretty, and I love those sweet pumpkin soup bowls. Your floral arrangement is the perfect finishing touch. I’m so for ready for fall to arrive. However, it is still in the 90s here. I have started my indoor fall decorating, and I’m saving the outdoor decorating for cooler days. Fingers crossed, they will be here soon. Happy Thursday!
Thanks so much Shannon, we have cooled off thanks to rain from Hurricane Nicholas, but I haven’t bought pumpkins or mums yet. Have fun decorating!
Jenna, your pumpkins are fabulous! The table has all the autumn feels and is so beautiful. I would love to see some sunshine!
Thank you Pam, and I agree, this dreary weather is getting old!
I love your gorgeous pumpkins Jenna. I saw Lynn’s blog post on the pumpkins too. I want to make them and I like the idea of using ribbons instead of the twine. You decorated such a pretty fall table.
Thanks for the blog visit and I hope you enjoy your day and weekend.
Thank you Julie, I hope you have fun making pumpkins! We have had cloudy, rainy weather for days so this bright table is keeping things cheerful inside 🌻
So very festive, Jenna.
Thanks Kim!
Your pumpkins turned out so cute! I like the one with stripes:@)
Thanks for the inspiration Lynn!
Very cute, Jenna! I love the table and flowers that the pumpkins kickstarted!
Thanks so much Rita!
Great job on the pumpkins, I will have to look at your tutorial. Love the soup tureens also. Did I tell you I made your wonderful picnic chicken recipe again this year while up north and it as loved by all. Thanks again Jenna! 🍊
Thanks so much Cyndi! I’m so glad you like the Picnic Chicken, and so nice of you to tell me 💕
I love your fabric pumpkins Jenna! Your table is perfect for this transitional time of year while it’s still warm (HOT) outside with your sunflowers, checks and warm textures. Hope you’re not getting too wet ♥
Thanks Mary, it’s been cloudy and rainy for days, ugh! I’m going to need more sunflowers!
Getting into the pumpkin spirit soon . . . not yet, but soon. This is good inspiration!
I haven’t bought any real ones yet, but it’s on my list for next week!
I just love the colorful mix of flowers and pumpkins, all grounded in black! I think the widespread use of color is what makes fall such a great time for tablescapes. The poetic touch makes me smile 🙂
Thanks so much Sandra!
These are lovely and your tablescape is beautiful. I hope it helps you smile during the rainy days.
Thank you Linda, we have had a week of rain, and the sunflowers have definitely helped!
I love the pumpkins, especially the uniquely individual embellishments. The sunflowers look great too.
