Party Panache, Bleu Cheese & Bacon Dip

Super Bowl is only 1 week away!
Will you be watching and noshing?
We love to gather with friends and family
to watch football with an appetizer buffet of tasty bites,
and a yummy dip is always included

This easy dip takes only minutes to prep
and can be made ahead and baked right before serving

Only 6 ingredients,
green onions, bacon, cream cheese,
blue cheese, mayonnaise and garlic powder

Beat the cream cheese with mayonnaise,
1/2 of blue cheese crumbles and garlic powder
Chop the onions and bacon

Then fold in bacon, 2/3 of the green onions
and the rest of the blue cheese

Transfer dip to a prepared small baking dish

At this point the dip can be covered and refrigerated
for up to 24 hours for baking later, if desired

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-30 minutes* or until hot and bubbling
Garnish with remaining green onions
*baking time will be longer if the dip has been refrigerated

Serve with sturdy potato chips, crackers

The appetizer buffet is even better than the super bowl commercials lol. I just might have to try this dip for my buffet this year. Thanks for sharing the recipe. 🙂
I agree, football is all about the apps!
I love an appetizer buffet, and this dip would make a perfect accompaniment! It looks delicious! Wishing you a most happy and beautiful Sunday, Jenna!
Thanks Shannon, yes, bring on the appetizers!
An appetizer buffet is perfect anytime! These flavors sound so good together, Jenna. Enjoy this beautiful day 🥰
I agree, an appetizer buffet is always a hit!
I love Appetizer Buffets! And this dip would be the center of it all. Great flavors. Thank you once again. Enjoy your day, Jenna.
Thanks Nancy, it’s hard to beat bacon and bleu cheese 😋
Love appetizers, and a buffet of them sounds heavenly!
Thanks Dorothy!
You can never go wrong with the combo of blue cheese and bacon!
A marriage made in heaven!
We don’t watch the Super Bowl, but I planned on having your Spinach, Bacon, Artichoke dip on Valentine’s Day. Now I may want to switch to this one–or have both. The Artichoke dip recipe specifies thick bacon. Do you use the regular (thin) slices for this dip? They both sound delicious, but maybe the ingredients are too similar to serve at the same time. What do you think?
You can use any kind of bacon you like in either recipe, I specified thick bacon just because that’s what I had on hand. The dips are similar because they both have bacon in them, but they actually taste quite different. I hope you enjoy them both!
Thanks for the feedback! Enjoy the Super Bowl!
Sounds like a great dip for the big game:@)
Yes, bring on the apps!
Sounds yummy Jenna! We were just talking about what SuperBowl munchies and the fact there is a chicken wing shortage. 🙂
Thanks Mary, I forgot about the chicken wing shortage!!
I’ll skip the super bowl and just hang out by this delicious looking dip! Yum — all my fave flavors in one!
Thanks Jeanie, it’s hard to beat bleu cheese and bacon!
YUM! I just pinned this! I love blue cheese. Marty not so much. Might have to make myself a little dish of this! We always have an oyster roast for Superbowl. I am wondering now what the going price is for them these days! Dang I might be serving just light bread with butter this year! LOL! Happy week dear Jenna. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Wow oysters for the Super Bowl, how much fun! Yes, groceries are pricey these days…sorry Marty isn’t a fan of bleu cheese, we love the stuff!
This sounds delicious Jenna – and pinned of course! Yum bleu cheese. I think it might be a tough choice between the spinach/artichoke/bacon dip and this one so I say make both! That way you can have some of each. Thanks for sharing and Happy Monday!
Thank you Kim! It is a yummy dip, and so is the Spinach Artichoke Bacon…so I like your idea, make both!
This looks amazing Jenna!….you have the best appetizer recipes!…well, all recipes for that matter!
Happy Super Bowl party!
Thanks so much Shirley!
Pinned!! My husband will love this! Thanks for sharing at the What’s for Dinner party. Hope you have a wonderful week!
Thanks Helen, I hope you enjoy!
