Fearless Friday, Have a Cuppa

Join me for a cup of your favorite coffee or tea today!

Let’s get brewing!

I gathered some inspiration photos from Pinterest
and did a simple pencil sketch

Once I drew the cups and pot I added whimsical patterns

Next I inked the sketch with a .05 waterproof liner pen

You can download a free printable here if you’d like to color along

When I color something like this,
I start with the things I know what color I want them to be
and then build from there,
balancing the colors throughout the composition as I go

I love to use black and white accents, stripes, checks and/or dots
They always make the colors pop

thanks so much Pam, a tea party on paper 🙂 Happy weekend!
I see your love of Mckenzie-Childs in this! So cute!
haha, it does have a tendency to appear in my artwork, thanks Carole!
Your art is always, always, ALWAYS so happy! I am elated each and every time and you remind me to stretch and try new things!

Reminds me of the teacup ride at WDW. So pretty and dizzy!
haha, yes I guess it is a little dizzy with all those dots!
Jenna, you are so talented and always amaze me with your creations. I love the coffee pot and cups you have painted. The colors and design are so pretty. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead!
Thanks so much Shannon, I so appreciate your always sweet comments…Is your weather getting hot? It is summer here for sure!
Cute and fun! I no longer have a Pinterest account as a protest against censorship, but I enjoyed collecting pictures of teacups and tea pots in my account. It was cheaper than buying a collection of beautiful tea sets, and no storage was necessary.😉
Thanks Linda, there is something about a stack of tea cups or a cute coffee or teapot that is hard to resist!
Oh this is dah-ling! Cheerful and happy… let’s have tea my friend!
Happy Friday!
That would be such fun! Thank you Nancy!

Adorable Jenna! Love the whimsy of your teacup stack! ♥
thanks Mary, I love to draw tea cups!
That is just adorable, Jenna! I think I could do this as I am good at copying if I can look at something. My son can come up with things in his head, but not me! I’d love to try this cute design. Thank you for your inspiration! ❤️
Thanks Kitty, I didn’t know you liked to draw! Have fun and you should draw and color some of your many beautiful tea cups!
