The Organized Life, September Paint Bucket

September is a favorite month for a lot of people,
and it is certainly for me too…
Temps are moderate,
pumpkins and mums begin to fill the marketplace,
leaves are starting to turn and fall,
and it’s the beginning of football season!

The recipes on my bucket list this month are a nice transition
from the hot summer months to cooler Fall temps
We’re starting to crave a little cozy comfort food,
and we’re looking for easy dinners for busy weeknights,
and many of these recipes are perfect for game day!

The flavor/theme the of the month is Grilled Cheese 😋
You can see photos of the recipes below
plus links to previous September bucket list recipes

derived from the old adage that
“the dog days” of summer are in August

Sweet Vidalia Onion Dip from Everyday Dishes
was the inspiration for
Easy Peasy Cheesy Vidalia Onion Dip
Spinach Salad with Peaches, Gorgonzola and Almonds
from Aggie’s Kitchen was the inspiration for
Peachy Spinach Salad with Bacon and Pecans

inspired Ranch Roasted Potatoes
I shared “the Chef’s” recipe for Gringo Enchiladas
They are topped with queso that makes them extra delicious
was inspired by Cheesy Corn Casserole from Plain Chicken
You will want to keep this recipe,
adapted from Evolving Table
in mind for an easy slow cooker meal~
Slow Cooker Pineapple Pork Tenderloin Tacos
It will be posting next week on Tuesday
Fruit Pastries with Almond Cream from the archives
were part of the Summer Celebration Menu
I highly recommend making
Caramel Butter Pecan Ice Cream Pie
adapted from Plain Chicken
You can use a ready graham cracker crust
or make your own cookie crust,
or skip the crust altogether
and just make the easy no churn ice cream
On to September!

Thanks so much Carole! Yes, WordPress has had some issues lately, and I’ve spoken to them and they said they’re working on it…sorry!
