Recipe Box, Peachy Spinach Salad with Bacon and Buttery Almonds

Here’s an easy and delicious salad, featuring ripe summer peaches,
that is perfect for an end of summer dinner

Baby spinach, romaine lettuce, fresh peaches, red grapes,
crispy bacon, buttery almonds, bleu cheese
and poppy seed dressing…

Quite a yummy combination!

With or without bacon, it’s a winning combo~
and if you don’t like bleu cheese, sub any cheese you like

I always opt for bacon,
and you could even add cooked chicken to make it even heartier

I used Brianna’s Poppy Seed Dressing,
it’s a light dressing with just a touch of sweet
that compliments the variety of ingredients

Serve it with a delicious Cheesy Zucchini Biscuit!

Sounds so delicious (minus bleu cheese, lol) and yes, of course bacon! Salads are so refreshing on hot, sticky days. Thanks Jenna.

Thank you Dorothy, have a lovely weekend!
Such a delicious salad for summer. peaches and bacon, who knew? I do love Brianna’s salad dressings. i would also remove the bleu cheese off my salad. You are full of wonderful recipes.
I love to combine fruit with savory ingredients in salads, so good! Thanks Linda, and yes, skip the bleu cheese if it’s not to your taste~
I tried to find fresh peaches today. No luck, but a second market tomorrow. This looks terrific!
I hope you can find some Jeanie, peach season is almost over!

Thank you Kitty, I love salads full of lots of goodies!
Yum, this sounds and looks delicious – I never would have thought of peaches with bacon. I might just have to check out the farmer’s market this weekend. I’m thinking I could probably sub some herb and garlic goat cheese for the bleu cheese. Thanks for such an interesting salad recipe. Pinned!
Sure Kim, I think you could sub just about any cheese you like, or skip cheese altogether. I love to combine fruit in salads with savory ingredients like bacon.
This looks good! I’ve always been a weirdo, afraid to try fruit in salads bc I wasn’t sure if the sweet combo would taste good. It certainly looks good through! I’m going to get up the nerve & try it! Thanks for sharing on Crafty Creators!
