Early Fall Pumpkin Patch

Happy September!

Today I’m joining Rita @ Panoply

for a Welcome Fall Tablescape Blog Hop

Be prepared to be inspired for Fall decorating!

Welcome friends, readers and visitors

from Pandora’s Box and the blog hop

I have a passion for sunflowers, pumpkins and black and white

so this Early Fall Pumpkin Patch tablescape

was pure joy to create!

I am easing into fall with soft salmon, neutrals, texture,

and sunflower yellows

Keeping the transition to Fall nice and mellow~

I love to mix patterns, you’ll see checks and stripes

Flowers, dots and leopard spots!

A harvest of pumpkins from the pumpkin patch

sits on a buffalo check runner

Piles of pumpkins can make a centerpiece quite a stunner!

There are painted pumpkins and ones made of fabric

Collecting pumpkins of all kinds has become quite a habit!

I hate to admit that I have even more~

I need to stay away from the pumpkin store!

Jenna, I had to laugh at: “I need to stay away from the pumpkin store”! That’s how I feel about the pumpkin patch when it opens up for business. 😊 Love your cheery mix of black and white checks and mix of textures…glossy, matte, straw and fabric. The sprinkling of sunflowers and animal print makes your table so fun to look at too! As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you, Happy Tuesday ♥

  3. BERNADETTE says:

Just beautiful! Sunflowers and pumpkins herald in my favorite time of the year.

  4. So lovely, Jenna, and your trademark poetic presentation was charming.

  5. Good morning, Jenna. I hope you had a great Summer. Love your Fall table featuring MC! So sweet! Have a great week.

  6. Good morning, Jenna. Your clever rhymes always bring a smile to my face. I love your fall pumpkin patch, the colors and textures are amazing! Can we ever have too many pumpkins?!! I love your pumpkin collection mixed with your love of black and white and sunflower yellow. Our local pumpkin patch opens for one day this Saturday and their crop is always amazing. It is always a pleasure to hop with you…Happy Tuesday!

  7. What a fabulous array of pumpkins!! But what caught my eye are the leopard bases to your wine glasses – I need to paint some!! This is truly a fall table, so welcoming and warm – my true thoughts of fall!

  8. Maria Kamara says:

Jenna your writing is fun to read, so clever! Lovely tablescape, and I’m now motivated to haul out my Fall decor or at least go find some.

  9. Ricki Treleaven says:

You have the cutest Pumpkin collection, Jenna. And they all go so well together! I wish I could make my own, but I lack your mad skills! ;P
I went to my mothership, Leaf ‘n Petal, last week, and they had quite the variety of pumpkins, both real and fake, including the Hot Skwash Pumpkins. You wouldn’t believe the colors! 😀
I need to take your flower painting tutorial…I think Shelley has a bunch of acrylic paints.
I want you, Emily, and I to go to Olexa’s and have their pumpkin spice cloud nine when they start serving it! It’s one of my favorite local harbingers of fall!
    xo,
    RJ

    • Thank you Ricki! I really have to refrain myself when the real pumpkins hit the markets 😂 I’ve never had the pumpkin spice cloud nine at Olexa’s, yes let’s go there soon, just let us know when you’re free! ❤️

  10. Bonnie Morgan says:

You have collected some great pumpkins. Love your runner full of all kinds of pumpkins. I laughed out loud at the verse in your rhyme about staying out of the pumpkin store.

  11. Very fun table Jenna. You have some fabulous pumpkins. You sure have a way with words and rhyming. By all means, stay away from those pumpkin stores. LOL. Sunflowers are always so cheerful.. Love the leopard print. A pleasure hopping along with you.

  12. Cecilia says:

  14. What a fun table! There are so many beautiful touches….and then all your pumpkins! You can never have too many, and each one of yours has its own personality! I love your table, who wouldn’t want to visit there with you?! Like Patti, I am quite smitten with your leopard wine glasses…so FUN! Happy Fall, Jenna. Thanks for the inspiration. xo Lidy

  15. Debbee says:

Oh dear Jenna, you left me with a dilemma — trying to choose which of the marvelous pumpkins in your fabulous centerpiece is my favorite! I kept going back and forth, scanning the photos. In the end, its gotta be one of the one-of-a-kind pumpkins you hand-painted. Truly though, I love them all! Thanks for always sharing tutorials too.

  16. Julie says:

Hey Jenna, you decorated a gorgeous fall table and I love your pumpkin collection! I hope you enjoy the rest of the week and happy September.

  17. Kari says:

Jenna I look forward to your cute poetry and your painting(s) at these blog hops. You do have quite an array of colorful pumpkins and they are all adorable. It makes me want to hop on over to a pumpkin patch and browse through all the different colored pumpkins. I did pull out an old, old Fall vignette I created several years ago and I had to laugh because it is still arranged just as I arranged it about 5 years ago. The large shallow basket has blue, green and white pumpkins nestled in and among various greenery. It reminds me of the guy who never unbuttons his shirt but just slips it over his head or the one who never unties his tie but leaves the knot in place…all in the name of laziness. Guess we know I fall into that category too. LOL Happy Autumn my friend,

    • Thanks so much Kari, pumpkins make me happy! And as for your Fall vignette, remember the old adage, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” You obviously love it the way it is or you’d be fiddling with it!

  18. Marion says:

Thank You for sharing your Fall tablescape. There is nothing like Pumpkins that say FALL.
    HAPPY FALL
    Marion

  19. Chloe Crabtree says:

Oh Jenna, I always enjoy your rhyming poetry! I love pumpkins too, and find myself trying to talk myself into resisting buying every one that I fall for! I love your collection of various pumpkins as a centerpiece! I wonder if you have a favorite?

  20. Kim Goddard says:

Jenna, your pumpkin collection is marvelous and is so perfect for your table! I love the black and white color scheme that you chose and it really makes those pretty yellow and salmon plates pop! I love the leopard print wine glasses too – so cute – and the Summer Burst painting is stunning! And who cannot help but smile at sunflowers? Thanks for sharing your wonderful table and happy September to you!

  21. Sarah says:

Jenna, can you have too many pumpkins? Asking for a friend?
I went down the velvet pumpkin hole years ago, and they have multiplied since. A friend just brought me 4 mini velvets as a little surprise. I also have some heirloom needlepoint pumpkins that are truly my favorites. Then there are the MC pumpkins. Well, you get the picture. Oh, my. I’m glad I’m in good company!
Love the way you grew your patch down the center of your table, and the buffalo check runner is the perfect garden bed. Your table setting details are fun as well. Plaid napkins, the cute Rae Dunn flatware, the pewter plates, and the solid plates that remind me of Fiesta Ware, all set a festive table. I like the way you did a flat lay of each of the elements. Great idea!
Your creative projects with tutorials are a real plus. I certainly admire your creative talent! Happy Fall!

  22. thefrenchhutch says:

How lovely! Jenna, your pumpkin table setting has me ready to dig out my pumpkins and set a table. I found myself in the middle of my favorite shop’s pumpkin patch last week thinking it’s way to hot for pumpkins. Boy was I wrong, it’s never too early to welcome these little beauties. I love your mellow colors and the check table runner. The goblets and flatware add a touch of elegance that I love. Your table is a beautiful inspiration for fall. Happy September and autumn Jenna. Let’s talk soon……

    • Thank you Emily! It’s too early to buy real pumpkins although I was tempted to the other day when I saw real ones at the grocery store! I am so really for pumpkins, Fall and football!

  23. What a lovely table, Jenna. I was inspired by your neutral pumpkin centerpiece. It’s not really neutral as the textures from the varied pumpkins create an interesting scope to the center of the table. The touches of color are perfect to keep it from being too bland. Makes me want to go out and buy some pumpkins. LOL. The goblets are unusual and add a nice touch to the table. Happy Fall!

  24. Kitty says:

Such fun to read your poetry, Jenna, and see your pretty Fall table!

  25. Nancy says:

Such a fun collection of pumpkins on your beautiful fall tablescape. And the sunflowers are the icing in the cake!
    Thank you for the inspiration!

  26. Ann Krucek says:

Jenna, you know I am a lover of mixed patterns and sunflowers, so I am so enjoying your table!!! Your pumpkin runner centerpiece is fabulous! I got a kick out of “keep me out of the pumpkin store”!! I always enjoy seeing all of your artistic touches on everything. Have a happy fall🍂🍁🍂

  27. mhhwarmcozy says:

I’m right there with you, J when it comes to loving pumpkins. Your collection is a great mix, and I’m especially loving the fabric one with the black and white checks mixed in with the sunny yellow print. It caught my eye right away.
I don’t think you can ever have too many pumpkins 🙂
Hugs and a happy fall to you,
    Rachelle

  28. Maureen says:

Jenna, I love your pumpkin centrepiece! All the different colours and textures make for a beautiful display! Sunflowers bring such joy to any space, and they look right at home nestled amongst the pumpkins! I love those pewter dinner plates! They make the perfect base to your seasonal plate stack!

  29. decorativeinspirationsgmailcom says:

I like the touch of leopard on the table. very cute

  30. Denise/My Home of All Seasons says:

So fun Jenna! I’ve been here for 30 minutes already just checking out the different pumpkins! I love them all but I keep going back to the striped fabric one on the side table. I was thrilled to see you added the tutorial. I’ll be pinning that for sure! Your table is gorgeous as always. Thanks for sharing!

  31. Jenna, you do have a lovely collection of pumpkins. You’ve styles them beautifully on your table. I love all the patterns, too.

  32. I love the abundance of pumpkins on your table! They remind me that fall is the season of harvests. The variety of types and sizes is colorful, textured and patterned. Adding the flowers and buffalo check doubled their impact. What a delightful table to gather around! Hope you have a wonderful week!

  33. You are so right, your centerpiece is truly stunning! Love all the mixture of patterns. Thank you for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty.
