Celebrating Fall

Today we’re welcoming Fall with Fall tablescapes!

Thank you to our very organized Rita from Panoply

for bringing our group together

and hosting our seasonal blog hops

After a very hot summer for many of us,

Fall can’t arrive soon enough, so we’re getting a head start today

with lots of wonderful tables to enjoy and inspire~

Welcome readers, friends, and visitors from my sweet friend Ann

from the Corner of Plaid and Paisley

I’m celebrating Fall in the dining room today

With a plethora of pumpkins on display!

A Fall lantern is nestled on the table center

surrounded by pumpkins galore

You simply can’t have too many pumpkins,

I seem to always want more!

Pumpkins are tucked among pretty fall blooms

The sunflowers really light up the room!

The plate stacks are topped with napkins held by a pumpkin ring

Black and white checks add extra zing

With the table runner set off center like this

there is plenty of room for every dish

Thank you for joining me to celebrate Fall!

Jenna, Your tablescapes always make me smile! Love your array of pumpkins at your table. . .so many cheery colors and textures! I’m anxiously awaiting pumpkin season, as soon as Mother Nature gets on board. It’s been oppressively hot and humid here and I know it has been the same in your neck of the woods. I hope your beach house will stay safe from Hurricane Idalia. As always, it’s a treat to have a virtual seat at your table. Happy Tuesday ♥

  2. Fall has the best decoration Jenna! Everything looks so lovely.

Good morning, Jenna! I am in total agreement with you…one can never have too many pumpkins. You have assembled quite a wonderful collection to create such a stunning centerpiece for your table. The differing heights, textures, and colors make for a lovely display. Your lantern tucked in along with the autumn candles ties it all together beautifully. Your place settings are so pretty topped with the whimsical napkins tied with pumpkin napkin rings. This is such a beautiful table to enjoy a fall meal with family and friends. Happy Tuesday!

  4. I bet that you have a HUGE storeroom! Love your Fall decoration.

  5. Cecilia says:

Jenna, what a festive table! I love the assortment of pumpkins in your pretty centerpiece! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction

  6. Pam says:

Jenna, I am also of the opinion you can never ever have too many pumpkins. The centerpiece with the lantern and so many different pumpkins in size, color, and texture make me smile. Black and white check always looks so handsome. I know your family will enjoy your lovely table!I am so ready for fall, August has been brutally hot. We finally received rain yesterday afternoon. I always love visiting your tablescapes in your dining room, patio or at the beach! Happy Tuesday!

You have a very unique plethora of pumpkins, My Friend! I love them all: They make your table so cute! The black and white checked table runner is the perfect thing to ground them. Your lantern and candle pillars are styled so prettily with the sunflowers and ribbon. I also like the little boards underneath your forks. 😀
    Happy Fall!

  8. Sarah says:

Jenna, you know I love it when you include a rhyming dialog. You are the best! I also adore the word “plethora”. Something so fun about the sound and the meaning behind it. Love the striped plates, the “plethora” of pumpkins, the clever use of the petite cutting boards under the forks, and the napkin details. Well done, Jenna! Happy Fall!
Hope you are not in harms way with the storm moving into the Gulf. Stay safe!

    • Thank you so much Sarah, please lower the temps and bring on the pumpkins! Our part of the Gulf Coast is safe this time, but my heart breaks for all those in the path of this devastating storm~

  9. Jenna, such a fun table with your plethora of pumpkins. I always admire the way you rhyme your posts. One can never have too many pumpkins. The cutting board is an awesome look. Black and white check is always a favorite. The pumpkin napkin rings are so cute. I hope you remain safe with the coming storm. Always a pleasure joining you.

  10. Kari says:

Jenna your prose never ceases to amaze me and your little cutting boards remind me of a Bible Study I had where I ordered little personalized cutting boards for my guests and gave each lady her own little charcuterie board and they loved it. Thank you for your concern over our safety…you are indeed a dear friend. Hugs and Blessings.

I always love your poems. When I try to rhyme like that, it seems to fall flat. (now that rhyme was just a fluke😂). My prayers are that you and all those you love will stay safe during this storm.💜

  12. Kim says:

Jenna, I love love your plethora of pumpkins table for fall! They are all so cute and the different, sizes, colors, and textures make for such a pretty centerpiece. And what a creative idea to offset it. The lantern is so pretty and I love how you incorporated the black and white checks from the ribbon, the pumpkins, and the napkins. The pumpkin napkin rings are adorable and so are those mini cutting boards. Those sunflowers really do light up the room and your prose always make me smile. What a happy table! I’ve been watching Idalia and I pray that she just moves on through and doesn’t bother anyone or cause any damage. My thoughts are with you and everyone else there. It was a pleasure hopping with you and take care down there. I hope you have a very wonderful fall with some cooler temps!

  13. Jenna, I’ve been trying to avoid looking at the pumpkins in the stores since I know I’ll want one — or three — but your table has convinced me to just go for it! I especially loved all the interesting textures and materials in the array of pumpkins you chose. What a wonderful nod to fall’s abundance! Such a great time hopping with you!

    • Thanks so much Sandra, and I know what you mean about being tempted…I have been trying NOT to shop as I already have way too much “stuff!” I’m just trying to reinvent things I already have for my tablescapes 🙂

  14. Let the fall celebration begin and you are ready for the party! I do adore your creativeness and your pumpkins galore!

  15. Lynne says:

Jenna, I really enjoyed your pumpkin display. The textures were great and loved the combination of creams and oranges with a bit of black and white check. It tied in well with your place setting. Have a wonderful Fall.

  16. Marion says:

Beautiful pumpkins. You can never have enough pumpkins.
    Marilyn,Joan and Marion

  17. Marsha says:

Jenna, I agree….you can never have enough pumpkins. Your collection of pumpkins as a table runner is awesome, especially with the pop of black and white check. Your use of various patterns really at such playfulness to the table. It brings such joy and cheerfulness to so many especially during some challenging times. Have a wonderful Fall season.

  18. Rita C. says:

Jenna, Happy September! I love your colorful and cheery table and centerpiece, full of pumpkins, sunflowers and other florals, along with your signature creative paint touches! I’m like you when it comes to nearing my own pumpkin patch. There are just too many tempting pretties out there, and you’ve got a great patch. I love how you used the little individual bread board / charcuterie for the fork, and the softer yellow-gold colors of the plates and napkins really speak fall to me. Love that lantern in the center too. I bet that really looks pretty when lit in the evening. You are fall ready in the city! Thank you for being a part of the hop.

  19. rachelle says:

Adding another pumpkin to my collection always makes me happy. I love the way you mixed them together going down the table center, and the black and white bows tied on to the lanterns.
    Happy Fall
    Rachelle
